the purpose of the king's erection of the rose stems (he has made hundreds btw) is to awaken/breed axis users, to add to their (cosmic) war efforts. this much is factual.
there are fair amount of speculations within SIU blog's comments about Bam being bred to awaken the axis? since the first group of great specimens found out about something (the truth about the tower) and said "fk this I'm done" and decide to reject the reality that was written, and Zahard/Jahad would seal the path which would've lead them to the exit at the top. basically axis king watching them play gods inside the "puny" tower, instead of getting tf out already and be of use to the real king. so he uses a woman who escaped and sought for his help as an opportunity to overthrow the kingdom in the tower. that might also explain why Phantaminum/Pentaminum was unable to touch profiles that were critical to the story like Yuri and Zahard/Jahad himself since a lesser axis user cannot interfere with the story of a more powerful axis, Pentaminum was top 5, but the creator of the rose stems is an Axis King (I forgot the name of the king, it's been like 12+ yrs)
