Before watching this movie, I should point out that this movie is made from a combination of many CGI scenes with a remote collaboration between me in the south of Iran and my team in the US. Due to this limitation of a remote work everything happened on stage not based on a pre-designed film production. This was a solution and a new way for me to gain a new experience by working remotely in a large scale of film making without a script. Maybe some part of the film's gaps are due to the impossibility of controlling everything on the set remotely. I made this movie with a low budget based on using 90% of visual effects on green screen footage which was sent by my team in America. Most the close-up, medium and the long shots are CGI created only using a GTX 560 Ti 2GB graphics card which caused many limitation in 3D rendering of 200000 CGI frame with sophisticated vfx techniques for this movie by me. You can see all the behind the scenes of this movie on my Instagram how I made Aliens Reaction with very few features as an independent filmmaker without financial sponsors.

This is the creepiest, most original sci fi film I've seen in a long time. I don't quite understand how the plot all connects however. But it's fun anyway.
très belle réalisation, moitié film réel, moitié synthèse, sans doute l'avenir probable des plus grands délires de science fiction, du moins au moment ou ils apparaissent, car si souvent, la réalité a rejoint la fiction, et sans oublier que les délires de James Bond ont donné lieu à des réalités, qui aujourd'hui sont réelles, comme le jet-ski par exemple, et autres gadgets, le téléphone sous forme de feuille greffée sous la peau de Total Recall pourrait le devenir, on implante déjà des puces.
J'avais vu des extraits, mais pas le film complet, les sélections de RUclips, me l'ont fait apparaître tardivement, une anomalie des propositions car les extraits et films que j'ai déjà vu, réapparaissent régulièrement, alors qu'ils figurent dans mes playlists. Donc je m'abonne, et je rentre ce film dans le standard, je sépare le 3D, synthèse et jeux, ne contenant pas de prise de vues filmées.
Bravo pour le travail colossal que ce film a nécessité, avec des vues saisissantes d'une excellente précision, et de détails, comme Druillet ne pouvait pas s'empêcher de dessiner dans le temps.
1 hour in. Five stars for epic visuals. No stars for acting or a coherent storyline. Done watching.
Nice CGI. Sound/music overwhelmed dialog most of the time. The rest was as exciting as a NASA documentary. The entire story's focus comes to fruition in the last 10 seconds of the movie.

Yes,very good.You need to put more emphasis on the transitions between scenes It might make the movie 30 minutes longer, but it will also make the plot of the film make more sense.
This movie reminded me of the so-called C movies of the 80's, you can see the good intention and that there was a huge effort to present the best possible with the equipment they already had and a budget that can only pay for pizza at the end of the movie, because everything lacked quality: Direction, filming, special and sound effects, make-up, rendering, etc. I don't know about the movie's history, but I believe it was made in the basement of a film student's house with no money for anything but pizza, just like the C movies, due that and despite of nothing was executed with the minimum quality you would expect, even for a B-movie, I loved the nostalgia and hope you guys had opened a new film market with this work, congratulations.

If I had saw this at the theatre I would have either fell asleep or walked out halfway thru. The UHD 4k visuals & CGI were stunning. Unfortunately thats the only thing the movie had going for it. Horrible script & dialogue! Sound quality was bad. I kept waiting for blood & guts & for the aliens to eat or rip apart the lesser actors. Ali what happened dude? The scenes were way to long & dull. Who edited this bucket of horse manure. This was like handing a 15 yr. Old inexperienced driver a million dollar Bugatti instead of a used Chevy. I give it 2 out of 10 stars. Only because of the top notch CGI & ultra HD 4k.
Yes, that was my impression. You shouldn't compare this to a full production; you use it as a base, etc. I agree with those who see a lot of potential. True, much of the greatness of a movie lies in the writing, and that will probably still make or break it.
I came upon your film way early in the morning, with work the next day I hesitated turning it off, however the visual was so amazing I left it on thinking I'd probably doze off and wake up to some intense dialogue with which I'd catch up with what I fell asleep on. Kept waking and dozing to great visual but never enough dialogue to follow, then upon reading several comments I understand why. I have still happy to have left it on though and impressed to learn it was a low budget film as the visual effects were superb. I intend to rewatch later rested, and can then offer you my humble critique. However what I saw was impressive and am grateful for the inspiration in that with an idea and talent, motivation can move mountains. Thanks. Love et is key ♥

Hopefully get an established director & better script your next time out. I read the critics reviews on IMDb.... I see why they were so brutal. Yet everyone, including myself, says the visual, CGI esp. The robots & spaceship scenes are "Spielberg" quality! An A in that category. But the script, dialogue, character development, sound quality was C-movie at best. I give you a break Ali, given your first movie. But next time bring it! Scenes were wayyy too long & dull. Yes ppl want to see blood n guts, aliens & humans being killed. Not asking "do you like chicken"? Geesh!

Wow this is a grade all on it's own of movie making. Gave me the feeling homemade. This computer work is labor intensive and even if you learn how you really have to like the work. The cost of Photoshop a loan is costly and very often redundant if as I am challenged with a spinal cord injury and so I am limited to how much time I can labor in front of a computer at a time. Then it is the acting which reminds me of old Canadian film productions, Thank you.

Okay. I saw a clip of the beginning with the planet being ripped up. I have been searching for this film ever since. I love the boldness. Okay several don't like the script, but it again takes chances and shows us scenarios we have not seen before. Great start!
I would be interested in a game with such special effects.
Maybe send some of the scenes to Blizzard or Lucas Arts?

I agree with many of the other comments. Great visual and sound effects , but one needs a coherent dialog , storyline and plot to make it all work together. Pay more attention to the mundane crap....where is the chaos and confusion that would be breaking out across the city. The characters seem like they are out on a picnic rather than dealing with life threatening aliens. Keep at it you'll get it right.
Didn't realize this was the work of one man. Well done, on the FX, even though I can't follow the plot.
Dream… This is how I dream, this had a plot, linkage through design, depiction and the mesmerising imagery. For me the repeating script and action from Caitlin, as lead actor is emotive, haunting and beautiful.
A cult film for me and as it seeps into the consciousness of others, so will it be.
So many superlatives for this epic piece of art.

You have to read with the director said about the movie it doesn't make sense it's more like a promotional thing
It feels very dreamlike. Not in a good way, but in a consistent way. Repetition with variation. Conversations without words. Movement that conforms more to attention than to physics. Feels like multiple timelines as though the subconscious is trying to decide which ending would make the most sense. Very dreamlike. I don't really know what the plot was.

i'm just a person who have interest on SCI-FI movie , and i should say it's amazing but a good movie need a good story first , as a regular person i like to hear a good story to keep me interested then a good CGI to boost my joy of watching it . we are still cave people who like to hear story when we are sitting beside the fire . i had to say you are a really talented person , wish you luck , love and success . Special effects were awesome, but the story could have used more work. Based on the way you said you had to get this movie made, I think it was pretty well done. But slower than molasses in winter running down hill. Good job putting it together the way you did though. You have some very dedicated friends.
Massive congratulations due for what you have achieved here. Visually and sonically it is FAR superior to many commercial productions. I don't think you have a problem with the story as some have suggested, but perhaps improvements in editing would be of more help. Some continuity issues, but these are apparent in pretty much all movies. You could say that the movie runs parallel across several dimensions and it would be believable. Perhaps this could be a new genre 😉
VFX, visual design and compositing are fantastic.
That this has all been done on a shoestring budget is nothing short of miraculous. Well done and I can't wait to see more!

This was actually not bad, better storyline flow and clean up some of the special effects like in the beginning aliens looked fake but more into the movie they looked more convincing! We're all being critics here and hopefully to help you guys be even better! Thanks for the upload! Peace

Truly amazing visuals and concepts.. the story can be developed further for sure... but I couldn't stop watching the machines
I love how the "movie" is a non-linear story being told. The close-up shots gives a view a great look at technology in this world, even if the visual aspect leads one to speculate on the potential application of said technology. The CGI shots were AWESOME.
The movie does seem to drag in parts (I fully realize this was various shorts edited into a movie, so I'm working that into my review because of that). Subtitles could help a lot, especially for deaf viewers. Sound is a bit weird in places, the dialogue for the female astronaut could be mixed up a little bit, since she frequently repeats herself, and uses the same 2 or 3 lines for almost the entirety of the space mission, which does leave itself to being hugely disliked - like a song being stuck on the same line of the song.

41:48. Why does she keep repeating the same 2 lines all the time? The NASA staff/controllers seems to be lost there for several moments, as if they are confused on what their role should actual be? Normally you would have different people monitoring different things during a launch or landing (like capsule systems statuses, speed/rate of descent, and anything else that could possibly affect either events) in sci-fi. That way you have interaction between the different actors and actresses, without having the actors/actresses fading into the background?
01:50:22. I love how the lead has no idea what kind of facial expression she needs to make (alternating between laughing and having a worried expression)? XD

Fully agree, as an excersize of clever CGI creation it is a great film. But there needed to be a good story that held it all together . Had there have been one this would have been a true classic gem.

Caitlin, I've watched all the short segments several times hoping it would come out as a whole movie! Loved it! "This is your brain......I am a piece of your brain".
Gimme a break..! If aliens really come to earth, our "leaders" better make damned sure that those who are sent as emissaries & representatives of the human race are NOTHING like the pair who met with the aliens in this flick.
Can you believe the dialogue spewed out by the pair..??? Not to mention the woman's the tone of voice, as if she's talking to someone beneath her..!
It's a dumb flick with an equally dumb script. I'm off to find something that at least makes sense and without so many holes in the plot it borders on idiocy. This flick just might work had it been put under the "Comedy" genre.

I see the CGI was the star of the show and rightfully so .Enough to keep an old geeezeer SyFy geek like me to stay with it despite ANY discernable plot or story line or any character development ..I see the talent to create a truly epic SyFy masterpiece. we need an EPIC story...... a screen play with lots of character development ... lots of protagonist charecter ! The skill of using current technology combined with the amazing creative talent created a successful immersive world.
As to what kind of storyline this is crying out for, it's hard to say.
Find a writer just as creative and can think outside the box and you will have a blockbuster.
There actually are free scripts available online for all kinds of genres. They are written by authors who either begin writing scripts, or they are writing scripts as a hobby, or they usually write for example drama scripts professionally, but upload a comedy or western script for free. And then there are also well known authors of scripts, who like to put out some of their work for free, so they can help out film makers or theatrical workers who either start their journey or do it for fun.
So it would in fact be possible to get a free script, or even get in touch with an author of a free script if you want some changes to be made. If I remember right, Stephen King also uploads free scripts for films and plays.

A challenging vision of extraoridinary quality and exception.astonishing.brilliant, but not that easy, which is good.
Very impressive. Every aspect of this production is almost good enough for a movie with real budget. The main weakness is the story and how it translates to scenes. It is often obvious that some scenes are only here as fillers to showcase the ability to make this or that feat without serving the narration. Even the actors are better than some professional actors.

This movie was horrid in terms of script, dialogue, & actual action. I kept waiting for the aliens to kill off some the lesser actors or extras. The scenes werent edited well & painfully wayyy too long. I gave it an A for being visually stunning & for CGI & technology. The rest of the categories get an F-! Which equals out to A C-minus at best. Ali why in the hell did you waste the studios budget on this bucket of horse manure. If you make another movie you better bring it! Cause this wasn't it Holmes! I couldn't watch more than an hour & that's only due to the CGI & 4k UHD technology.

If the movie had been completely without any dialog or live actors this would have been a neat animation project to showcase the power of desktop CGI, but because of all the terrible actors and the script I end up skipping past all the parts with people acting. That 19 year old boy playing the news reporter just made me laugh out loud.

What i love is, most movies the really good space shots are way to short this one you actually get to look around for awhile and I'm loving it!
I think I get it; this film was made for the tenticley aliens, and I'm sure it makes total sense to them. Nice spaceships, made me wish I could get out there and live some of that stuff.
If you listen very closely to the aliens talking, you can completely make out aliens "kinda" saying what humans are hearing as a "telepathic voice". :P
It is obvious from this movie they treat us like pets in a way humans will never be able to understanfd. It tires me out.
Only problem with Douthat is the air.

Graphics excellent, but the story line is very elusive.
This was an interesting find. I watched it strictly for the CGI FX, Great really great the cast however were with out depth, Some what flat. Over all worth watching again. bravo

Although the special effects were well done in the movie, they were actually OVERDONE. There were gizmos on their gizmos, on their gizmos. The dialogue ( "Is this where I'm supposed to make a speech or somethin' ?" X 4 ) is awful, as is the acting (If it was "dubbed", that could explain some ), and there is barely a plot/story. I'm sure a lot of work was put into this production. It shows talent and technical skill, and hopefully any future films will pay more attention to story, dialogue and acting. Thank you for the film and best wishes in your future endeavours.

I spent over an hour COMPLETELY confused, but the visuals kept me here. So I guess they did do SOMETHING right. But I still dont understand it!
That alien looks like the Hive from MIB International. I'm waiting for M and H to come kick its ass.
I'm only 15 minutes in, but big time hats off to the visual effects. Also spectacular job with what seems will be one of the protagonists with the blond lady. She kinda reminds me Jodie Foster...which means excellent casting.
A PLOT DESCRIPTION before this starts WOULD BE DAM HELPFUL to know 'What-The-Hell' is going on!! And some scenes made me 'feel' nauceous as the 'FLY-BYS" occurred & some were too repiticious in movement. Spectacular Imageary thru- out the movie. I 'GOT IT' the aliens liked to 'STRIP MINE' Planets without any cares for the life on them...all these aliens must be 'DESTROYED' forever!! Anyone know what this story is about...is there ANY PLOT? WTH was THIS? Just a demonstration of his 'CGI ARTWORK'????

Quite interesting. I understand what you mean by the gaps. You're quite talented. Hopefully you will be fortunate enough to have someone view this that sees your potential and can give you the funding needed for a large enough budget to do another or to be able to fill this one in better so it can be pulled together. With so many gaps and jumps, I'm sure it will be hard for most to follow or understand. Your concept is outstanding. The cgi is great. The actors were too calm for an "alien invasion"
Not the worst movie I've seen, and obviously Lots of time and hard work was put into this- but the story and plot was very confusing- especially the Robots/Androids/AI - they're working with humanity against the aliens, but where did they come from? Were they made by humans? Because they Look very advanced but the movie seem to take place in current day Earth, not in the future or even near-future, yet these super advanced Robots just pop up with better guns than humans btw, running comms and we seem to trust them, but again, humans build these really fast, really advanced, and yet we have no comparable tech to fight the aliens with? - I was thinking for a while the Robots were a different, 2nd "alien race" that came to help, but they have human features (including noses and mouths with Lips, that don't function and have no purpose???) - The Robots were the most confusing thing in a series of confusing scenes -- Still, read the intro description, get where you guys are coming from- good effort, good effects, working worldwide during our current conditions- much Luck in future efforts Ali Pourhmad and team- but this comes off as more of a test film/audition for future funding for a real movie Later on

Brian Smith, your comment expresses my thoughts also. Ali knows that the script wasn't exactly stellar and I hope he takes the constructive criticism with the understanding that, minus the trolls , we all mean well. The fact that he pulled this off while having to deal with Covid restraints plus the chaos of daily life where he lives shows his dedication and determination to pursue this path. There is no doubt that this man has talent and I hope he gets the opportunity to get a better writer and funding to rework this, it has potential. And Brian,and the many other commenters that have been polite, thank you for showing everyone that how to do constructive criticism in a nice way. There is no reason to be rude and crush someone's dreams, I hope Ali reminds himself that this is the internet and there are people with sad little lives and just want to drag others down to their level, and that he ignores those commenters. Misery loves company right?
Ali Pourah is a "PIONEER". Making a very good movie mostly remote, with professionals at all levels doing their jobs responsibly, is remarkable and difficult. This man was the brains and made this happen. You will be remembered Me. Pourah.🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

I slept through 75% of the movie and apparently I didn't miss a thing and with all the amazing advanced technology they had to rely on parachutes to bring them down but thankfully it did cure my insomnia thank you for that

Interesting film. Excellent use of cgi and effects. The plot line is somewhat lacking and the whole thing is rather confusing and hard to follow. There are definitely some highlights contained within the film and while I am not trying to be negative I think that with some work it could be a full feature film someday. It feels like this is a film comprised of a bunch of very small segments and perhaps due to the time required to develop them they have kinda become disjointed and seem somewhat random at times in the film. For example when the main character meets with her friend at a grassy park inside the large spinning habitat while orbiting earth, there are visible vehicles in the background and then after that scene there is no further mention of being on an orbiting living quarters in space. Then the encounters with the aliens seem confusing where they are face to face after the helicopter journey and communicating via telepathy and then later in the film while the AI communications droid is being assembled the AI says “I am a copy of your brain so that when we communicate with the aliens you will be protected from possible harmful effects” which indicates that they haven’t conversed with the visiting aliens yet, even though in previous scenes they had indeed been face to face… so, overall it is a excellent example of some outstanding CGI work and there is obviously room in the industry for Ali to join, contribute and prosper given his skills set. Story line and acting in this could use a little work, but whatever, I am just happy to be able to see some science fiction, personally. Can't be - this was like a web series that consisted of various episodes that were all linked to together to form a feature sized "film". The Director was the one who made the clips, and while there is probably both intended and unintended issues with the upload, it was still an okay watch for what it was? If you have issues with the sound, just mute the video sounds and put on some other music to listen to? :/
