The man found out that Michael was his wife's lover and sabotaged the bike so that the throttle would get stuck the first time it reached 80mph. The first time Michael took it on the freeway, he slammed into the side of a bus carrying hospital clowns on its way to a children's cancer center. The clowns were unharmed, aside from one whose false nose came off and was lodged in his windpipe. Michael was pronounced dead at the scene, but a witness who administered first aid said his last words were, "the bike is perfect, except for the headli... uhhhhhhh"

2022. Just bought one of these. It’s possibly the best road bike I have ever owned. I had a good ride with a well ridden new KTM Super Duke 1290 the other day. Despite a fairly large power deficit, he couldn’t leave me behind on fast A roads. 👍🏻

Just come across this review and I have to say it’s the best out there. I have an 05 original 1050 which sounds amazing but the fuelling is brutal so when this epidemic is over that is my next bike 👍

Excellent review smo. I am a former (2011) Speed Triple owner and miss the character of the 1050 so much I am exploring my options to get back into the show with a 2016. I have watched at least 7 or 8 other review videos on the this bike and yours is the best and clearly illuminates all of the reasons why I want back into the Triple Club! As to the Price of Admission??? Who cares, it is only money(LOL)!!!!
I think the biggest compliment I can give the Speed 'R' is it feels just like a Street 'R', but with more power. That's some accomplishment by Triumph as I full expected the Speed to feel heavy and laboured in comparison, but it just doesn't. Wonderful bike and I can't think of anything else I'd rather get as my next one. Great review btw :)
If you mean on the bike I use the official GoPro adapter and a Drift Mic (then copy the audio channels in post). At my desk I use a Samson Meteor. I recorded all of this on the Island with my own equipment =)
to be honest I don't like comments on videos but hay why not I got a 2013 street triple r same as yours loved it I have traded it in for a new white and red speed quickshifter and low boy exhaust sounds and goes amazing 152 bhp love the videos love the channel may have to pop over the water to have a blast on the island

I surprisingly beat a R1 on my speed triple not long ago from a standstill to 100 mph. I had a CBR 1000rr before this so i know how fast super sport bikes are but the speed triple can hold its own until you are well into the 100 mph range.

I'm also wondering how comfy it would be for me and my gf to tour around Europe on this bike? Also, wouldn't the pillion get their calves heated or burned from the sides of the undertail exhausts? Great review, if and when I change bikes again. I'm looking at the Speed, test ride a must. Triumph dealers are really good on the main land for customer service, test rode the street before buying for 2 days :)
