We made 6 different frozen fruit bars with fresh fruit.
Lemon lime, strawberry, kiwi, pineapple coconut, orange and kiwi strawberry.
We made two simple syrups as our base.
A simple syrup is equal parts sugar and water, heated until the sugar dissolves, then cools.
Our first simple syrup was made with organic sugar and water, it has a cloudy brownish color.
Our second was made with white sugar and water, which has a clear appearance.
On most of our fruit bars, we added fresh squeezed Meyer lemon juice to add the citrus flavor.
Our kiwi and strawberry bars were made with fresh pureed fruit, Meyer lemon juice and simple syrup along with fresh pieces of fruit.
Our orange bar was made with organic simple syrup, fresh squeezed orange juice (we strained out the pulp to give it a nice clean appearance.
We also added our Meyer lemon juice.
Our pineapple coconut bar was made with a syrup of cream of coconut, halfand half and sweetened condensed milk. We added chunks
of pineapple.
Our kiwi strawberry bar was made with white sugar simple syrup, and fresh fruits.
You can make fresh fruit bars without the simple syrup with a puree of fresh fruit. We wanted to experiment with simple syrups on this video.
Frozen pureed fruit is much healthier and you really don’t need to add the sugar.
After freezing for 8 hours, we ran warm water on our molds and the fruit bars will pull out easily.

Perfect idea for summer! This is much better than buying at the store! and especially if you have kids! I know how hard it can be to get them to eat real food! haha Great job!
So true! Thanks so much for stopping by.

Oh my gosh! I love these frozen fruit bars. How fun watching you prep your fruit and blend up these beauties. Love those stainless steel popsicle molds too. Guess you’ll be making those all summer long. Wouldn’t it be fun to add a touch of alcoholic beverage for fun grown up pool parties? I think so. So easy and fun.💛

Do you have the exact recipe for the creamy one? How much cream of coconut, sweetened condensed milk ect
Hi, I would use 2 cup coconut milk, and 1 cup each cream and condensed milk. Or cut the recipe in half based on how much yield you would like 😊

What is the recipe for the simple syrup
It’s equal parts water and sugar. 1/2 cup sugar to 1/2 cup water etc. be sure to dissolve the sugar. Thanks for watching. 😊
Okay, these look delicious, but how do you store them to reduce freezer burn and make a few batches? I have very limited physical energy, less so now post surgery, so I'd really like to make a bunch before my fresh fruit goes bad. I know I can put some lemon juice on them and keep them in the fridge for a while, but I'm afraid I'd want to just make a meal of such a platter. 🙈
Hi Katie. Thanks so much for watching. I would wrap them individually maybe in parchment paper and place them in a large freezer bag. That should hold for awhile.
Tastyy 😋😋😋
Thanks so much.
Where did you buy the molds and sticks?
Hello, I got the molds on Amazon and you can pick up the sticks from there too. You can also get the sticks at any craft store as well. Thanks for watching. 😊
