I know this is a 2 year old video, but I wanted to let you know its still very valid. I watched a couple other videos but found this one to be the most informative and contained all the information needed for me to go and do the manual to electric choke upgrade. Thank You Just did my 73 Duster Today i have been putting up with that PAIN IN THE ASS manual choke for 10 years saw your video and realized i had an old Holley sitting with a electric choke down my basement for years never occurred to me that i could change it over, after the swap the car started up the best it ever did no contest ELECTRIC CHOKE is the way to go what a pleasure also that engine of yours runs solid very nice i have a 2011 Mustang that i like BUT i also have a 69 GTO and a 73 DUSTER and i feels so dam good to have two cars without computers and converters Take Care Richiespeed (62 year old hot rodder)

I live your videos! You have always got the best exhaust systems ive ever heard! What setup do you like the best on this car? I'm about to buy a brand new set of long red glasspacls going to possibly use 2 1/4 pipes
Thanks for showing the swap for the fast idle screw! No one else had mentioned that in the electric choke conversion. I pulled one off of another Holley I had lying around for my 4150.

My fast idle screw is stuck and now stripped too. Vice grips aren't getting mine out. Any other suggestions?

You can get one on ebay or the speed shop if you have one in town.
Broken orange wire on alt Zeph
I cut into the wrong wire at first but I got it fixed
Zephmont Ah gotcha. Was thinking that might be the cause of the pulse. Oh well. My 95 Mark viii lights would pulse. Turned out it was the alt itself.

Where do I hook the power wire if i have a generator instead of an alternator?
Find the wire that supplies 12 volts only when the engine is running.

Yea it just had a manual choke setup.

why did you go back to automatic?
The 4 spd that was in it blew up last year. It was a junkyard transmission that was free so no big loss.
