These 1A videos are always fun to watch. I like the part where he mangled and destroys the bumper clips.
+Salem Biad Thanks for checking us out! 1AAuto.com
This video is over the top for me. Just so happens the bumper is damaged as well as two cracked tail lights. I though the bumper was beyond my ability to replace myself. The car was my mother's, she recently passed and I have to sell it. It is in excellent condition except for the two head lights and the bumper. I came to this video for the headlights, I am over joyed I can make all three repairs myself. Thank you so much.

Thank you so much for this guide. I've managed to replaced my Civic's LHS rear light myself.

This video was perfect! Thanks for the great walk through! Made this job super easy!
Thanks. I have a 2001 and while not exactly the same this was close enough that it showed me how to do it. I was able to get to the screw underneath without taking out the two fasteners underneath and just letting the bumper hang.
Why do you guys have to remove the bumper for just a simple taillight replacement?
Very helpful video, why would anyone give it a thumbs down? This guy was great in explaining & showing the whole process,

+B.c.v Thanks for the feedback!

+Marcus Kaneshiro Thank you!

That video is great, I watched other, but that one is much better. Thanks

Do I need to remove the bumper cover completely or can I just drop one side enough to get to the bottom nuts?
Question about the tail lights, are the turn signals red or amber?
it might sound like i'm breaking it...but i'm not....proceeds to break it lol
Have you tested whether or not the process is the same for 2009-2011 Honda Civics? The only thing that seems to have changed within the tail light is the turn signal. Other than that, it looks all the same to me. Is the mounting mechanism any different?
We currently do not have an auto repair video specific to your vehicle. You might be able to apply some of the basic steps shown in this video to your application. +ElevatorMan5482 ElevExperiencing Productions
How much would the labor generally run for a job like this, provided the mechanic was quoting an honest and fair price?
Anyone know how to do the inner ones.
i think i will not screw back those screws under the BUMPER. it will be more easy next time with out them . plus it has 4 bolts.. that will be tight enough👍
Exactly, that bracket is really stupid.
I’m so mad I don’t have a man or dad or grandpa to do this for me lol
DIY bud
It’s ok girl just take an hour out your day to do this ,I’m doing this tomorrow in my a garage wish me luck
The corner of my tail light is cracked, I think I’ll pass on replacing it😅
hi i need some help. i made the mistake of trying to take off the bracket and because of all the rust the brackets mounting studs completely broke off from the car. will the mounting studs of the light be strong thought to hold it on or do i need the bracket? if so how would i fix that
+Liana Dora Thanks for watching! The light will not be stable enough without that lower bracket, so you will have to replace it or make a new bracket. 1aauto.com
I purchased the new tail light assembly, and it looks perfect.
But the video shows the man bending a bracket to remove the old taillight. I don't like that idea. He should spray the rusty nuts with penetrating oil, then unscrew them, rather than bend a steel bracket.
+Jim Walsh Thanks for the feedback! We'll pass this info along to our production team.
It's really not hurting anything Jim
Dont know whats the use of that bracket, makes removing the headlight difficult.
10 minutes of "work" for hundreds of dollars?
Bruh why did they make it this hard just to remove headlights and tail lights? These are pets that should be easy to replace……smh
