A silly name suggestion, but perhaps you could call one of the anteaters "hoover"?

    • @timokarff6162
      @timokarff6162 11 месяцев назад +5

That would be suitable for an armadillo. They are called Hoover Hogs (as they were sometimes hunted and eaten during the Great Depression).

@@timokarff6162 Hoover is a term for a vacuum cleaner (it's a vacuum brand) so for an anteater it's a great name between the hose like snout and the fact they eat ants so fast it is like they suck them up.

Just discovered your channel from the Ethical Zoo ep1. Think my favourite part is the fun facts, the inclusion of building all the buildings (and your thought process), and that your builds are beautiful yet very attainable. Some of the other channels I've seen have so ridiculously complex builds and using hundreds of thousands of props for even smaller buildings or habitats which would lag out my still decent PC just looking at it. Absolutely adore your staff building and the bamboo accent wall things on your habitat building and shop. The big animal screens right on the habitat windows look a bit awkward blocking a part of the view and feeling very heavy right on the glass. Would love to see little screen stands instead

Oooo maybe to sort out education; have one section dedicated to capybara's, one to the wolves, one for the ant-eaters. So the capybara section would be close to the entrance, as that's the longest wall. The wolves section would be the wall along the path where guests go to the main square. And the ant-eaters sections along the wall near the new staff building. That way the speakers won't be jarring, either!
    Potential wolf name: Jackie!

Cardboard stuff is GREAT for enrichment for animals, it makes them have to do actions they would in the wild, especially if there's a prize inside for them to get at. We used boxes, tp rolls and paper towel rolls all the time for quick and easy enrichment. Pop a little popcorn with a tiny dot of molasses inside and watch them go crazy for it... I spent a year as a keeper's aid...

Fun fact about ant eaters. Their claws are wicked sharp. Like, sharp enough to disembowel you (we know this cuz it’s happened) and they’re the only animal jaguars hesitate to try to eat because their tails are also meant to look like their heads. Keep in mind, jaguars hunt caimans like they’re nothing which can weigh over 400 pounds. Jaguars are the third largest big cat and have the strongest bite relative to size. And they get sent running by an animal that looks like God gave life to a feather duster.

    Loving the series!
A quick couple recommendations: add a sign on the staff complex so guests know it's a staff building. I know the game doesn't let guests go on staff paths anyway but it's a good visual add on :)
The other thing is maybe add an access ladder/door to the roof garden/front garden area. Again it doesn't add any actual game mechanic benefits but it's good detailing (as if a gardener would have to go and tend the roof/front gardens every so often).
Can't wait to see what you do with the entrance to the park!

what would be interesting is a main building for like a "discovery centre". Something were you could put some general customer stuff like food courts and toilets, then an info building. But you could then also have a few of the staff buildings within it, so its like the customers can look inside and see what happens with the animals in quarantine etc.

I love maned wolves so much. They're so leggy!
Also maybe some waist high fences in front of the viewing windows if that doesn't disrupt gameplay? To keep people from bothering the animals with tapping on the glass and such. And maybe a fake little rooftop exit on the building so some theoretical gardener could get up there and take care of the green roof?

The capybaras are sooo cute! The city that I live in here in brazil has a central lake and lots of capybara live there, believe me, they are as cute in real life as they are in the game

I wish maned wolves were this active in zoos. They're most active during the night, and hidden away sleeping most of the day. They so very awesome, where I live there are some wild ones and I've seem them (unfortunately in some cases they were infected with scabies, which they catch from domestic dogs), but they're VERY shy.
As a brazilian that has all 3 animals in the wild where I live, I love that these were the first 2 videos from you I watched, subbed instantly!

Really happy to see love for animals native to my country. I checked the wiki and unfortunately some of my favorite animals aren't options for the zoo (mainly birds), but i hope to potentially see more brazilian animals show up in the zoo in the future. Of course capybaras are an international favorite but we also need to show more of our love towards maned wolves and giant anteaters
Maned wolves are called lobo-guará in portuguese, which means red wolf, so I think it'd be fun to name one of them Guaraná, which is a similar sounding word and also the name of a popular fruit in brazil that looks like an eye with a red shell and makes a really nice drink.

You may want to keep in mind that since this is an ethical zoo to look at your animal’s traits. Better genetics to release back into the wild. Just found your channel and love it.
