These guys put on such a great show. I couldn't believe how awesome they sounded playing at a little bar of ours down town this past tour. Seriously the best concert I've seen, and they're by far some of the coolest guys I've ever gotten to meet. Tommy Church even gave me a giant, sweaty, bear hug after the show.
I have to say that these guys beat Slipknot by a long shot.
+Loki Laufeyson meehhhh.. Noooooo.. They don't have flames like Slipknot does, they don't have cool spinning drumset on stage.. Lets see.. theres a;lot that this band could improve on that Slipknot has.

And even if it was I find the masks of Mushroomhead to be better than Slipknot and who the fuck wants to go to a live show to see drum sets spinning around?
+Loki Laufeyson I agree. I've seen Slipknot live as well, and they've been my favorite band for a long time, but there's just something about their live shows that doesn't do it for me. I love their studio music, but the shows feel almost forced, like they're not doing it because they enjoy it anymore.

But I agree Mushroomhead has far better stage presence.
I love the black light-reactant features. And these guys always put on killer shows.

Saw these guys on Saturday. Totally Amazing, Crowd friendly amazing performance, the drummers in the front were awesome!!

+Danny Laiho Thanks for the compliments. Unfortunately the audio was outside of our control but it is accurate since this is what they sounded like that day. Using the same equipment on our end, we were able to make this video more recently:

After talking with MRH, they said they are using an all digital format so nothing needs to be plugged into sound boards anymore so the sound will be much clearer in the future from them.

Why isn't mushroomhead more famous than slipknot?
Cause they aren't as good.
Suleman Mostufa because slipknot gained more mainstream attention earlier than mushroomhead and when they hit the big scene every one thought they copied slipknot even though they're older and they probably didn't want to change their sound to be more mainstream which is a good thing
Because Slipknot is kinda more generic than Mushroomhead.
Answer from one of their interviews is: Slipknot wanted to get out there, and Mushroomhead wanted to stay more underground.

Agree. Not a fan of the new guys or the new music. Didn't even buy the last album. Think I liked maybe 3 songs and the rest just sounded like one song. Too Hard Rock and not enough metal for me.
