CHEATERS!! Cartel of Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland, they always vote this way. You can verify online how public vote was seperated by country.
Meaning if Netherlands is better you steal 12 points from them times 5 =60 points. Maybe they get 15 instead -45 potentially and you give nordics the win by giving them top points for free as well.
Netherlands did only maybe got 12 extra points from Belgium, no extra favors apart from that. +5 points that would be from border country support perhaps, this as norway gets 7 points.
As Germany and UK combined gave only 11 points to NL, more to Norway with 24 points!!
So to get 261 points without cheating, hence it is better in my opinion. than getting 291 with cheating.

This won the popular vote and is the true winner in my opinion. I don't see why a "Professional jury" is needed.
If anything tonight proved why a jury IS needed. How on earth can people hand out 186 votes for the atrocity that is Iceland's entry yet leave none for the perfectly fine song that Germany entered with. Spirit In The Sky is a fun song and the joik bit is original, but it simply lacks in depth, polish and meaning compared to Arcade. The results are perfect as they are.

It gives me chills & brought me to tears.
It means so much. I was so happy & so proud.
The fact that it resonated with others across the world is just a beautiful bonus, but no matter what I would have been over the moon at what they did here & what their music will no doubt continue to do.

You have to get the most points. The Netherlands had a lot of times the same problem. The jury loved it but the people didn't. You have to get enough points from both to win. That's the fairest way to do it. The years when only the people had a vote were not that divers than now. The same countries got trough to the final and. It was not that exciting to see who would win.

Norwegia dostała największą ilość pkt od widzów.Nie wiem po co zbierają się Ci jurorzy. Chyba tylko po to żeby ustalić punktację od 1 do 8 - bo z 5 krajów to już komentator wie przed wynikami jak zagłosowali. A później lepszym utworom brakuje punktów. Polscy widzowie zaskoczyli mnie z punktami dla Islandii ( 12 pkt ) - Norwegia chyba 8 dostała.

There are only 5 juries. Obviously their music preferences may be some strange. And they have 50% votes of all country. So the system is really fail.

Juries' votes are mostly about voting for friends and not actually for the show like Norway got underrated but slav countries gave a lot of points to Czech republic despite their song being far from deserving it (less than 10 points from the public was just the logical thing) so what did you expect? XD
It is really strange that just five people in each country can decide 50% of the results. There should at least be 20 persons, and they must be forced to give a motivation for how they vote. Some jurys vote are so random, it's like EBU just ignore this.

It hasn't always been esy to be the "different one" in a society/community/group (something Fred who is a minority in Norway (Sami), Tom who is gay and Alexandra who said she was bullid as child because of her weight, can relate to). According to pre-christian Sami religion, the People had helping spirits. These could be in the shape of an animal, called Sáivu-loddi or Sáivu-sarvvát. So they wrote a story set in Sápmi many years ago, where a person is calling upon hers/his helping spirit for extra strength in a difficult situasjoin.
