I'm so glad Blender has evolved so much in these 5 years. The simulation is better quality, the simulation time is faster, the interface is better, the render time is faster AND better... Go Blender 3D!
You all probably dont give a shit but does anybody know of a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid forgot the password. I love any tips you can offer me.
We may have another legend in the making here! Great tut dude! Brilliantly presented and explained, great result and didn't go on for ages! Keep it up man! You'll have a shed load of subscribers soon, I'm sure!
I like the way you explained it. There should be more tutorials for people who kind of know what they're doing but need precise input as to values for sims and the like
No howzit :) Thanks man. It is an amazing addon for Blender. Since this video I have moved over to Houdini but I still stand by my comments. If you are looking for fluid capabilities inside Blender, it is a good choice. And the devs work real hard to keep improving the addon
Thanks so much for the vid! Never thought of adding the turbulence either. Can't wait to see if they add buoyancy to the addon in the next few updates.
Amazing final result. But wow 17 hours. I only have a 3930k at 3.8ghz. And 2 x 660ti in SLI for cuda. They only have 1,344 cores each. So 2,688 total. This simulation would probably take me 30-40 hours. Ouch. But damn it looks so good. Nice work. I think I need to upgrade my pc. 😊
Go to the frame you want the strength to start animating on, so it's about frame 32 in this tutorial. Change the Strength to 0. Hover the mouse over the Strength property and press "i" to insert a keyframe. Or right click on the Strength property and select "Insert Keyframe". Then move to frame 37 and change the Strength to 300, and either right click on the Strength property and choose "Insert Keyframe" or just hover the mouse over the property and press "i". Then just do this again at frame 102, insert keyframe, then go to frame 106 and set the Strength to 0 and insert a keyframe
Nice work, simple, detailed. Awesome.... Just for curiosity, how many time you take from start and finish of the video? (including all the research you did) I also subscribed. I liked a lot the quality of your explanation. Keep on!!!
I am sorry you are having issues with the forcefields. I just re watched it and it seems pretty clear to me. I explain how to add the forces and I go through the animation of them as well.
@@K1FFVFX you did a really good job at explaining it all, i think just in newer versions of blender, all these things seem to work differently, forcefields now effect water sims, and the drag and turbulence do not work the same as they did in your version of blender back then
is this in blender 2.79? Ive seen there is an experimental flip fluids release for 2.8, but cant get it working. Would love to know if anyone else has had any luck though
In case you're still struggling to get Flip Fluids working in 2.8, try the following: Check the box to render in full screen view and also check the 'Lock Interface' option in the same drop-down menu at the top of the screen. Sounds weird but this worked for me after I saw the suggestions online. Could barely get 1 frame to render before that. Now, all seems well:-) Good luck!
I noticed that you didn't do anything else to your 3D head when you designated it as an obstacle in flip fluids... yet, your 3D head was interacting with the fluid. I did the same thing as you and my 3D mesh won't interact with the fluid at all. I even made sure to click on "export 3D animated mesh because my mesh is animated... it still isn't working. I don't know what I have done wrong?
There are some bugs in Blender 2.8 that will cause problems with rendering a FLIP Fluids simulation. See this topic for the current known issues with FLIP Fluids in Blender 2.8: github.com/rlguy/Blender-FLIP-Fluids/wiki/Blender-2.8-Support
Hi, the scan should be a STL file. So head over to File - Import and if you don't see STL from the import menu, then head to Preferences (CTRL + ALT + U) and in the addons panel, search for STL and just activate that addon :) Now when you head over to Import, you should see Stl (.stl)

Easy to follow and to the point. Hope you will do more.
Thanks so much!! I have finished recording Part 2, just need to find time to do the voice recording and then it will be uploaded!
Awesome video man love your work.
Excellent vid. When will you upload another?
Thanks so much! I’m hoping to release Part 2 this coming week!
Very interesting demo/tuto. Thanks

Love this Add-on and your work!
loved this style of tutorial as well, very concise and to the point. cant wait for part 2!
Im a c4d user and i want to say that is a great simulition u did gj .. even with realflow u dont get thid awsome result . 🍒 Cheers.
Dude great tut. Concise and non-rambling. Nice
Thanks so much man!!
Thaks for giving us your settings and knowledge 😀👍
No worries! I'm glad I can share it :)
Very nicely explained. Even "simple", yet very stunning effect. Thank you
Thanks so much!
just subbed and tutorial is super high quality. I hope you make more of them
howzit bru ;) nice tut, been looking everywhere for a good FF tutorial. Ive only just got the demo, so still on the fence about getting it.

Perfectly paced tutorial/breakdown... looking forward to part 2 ;)
Ah that means a lot, I was very worried about the pacing! Glad you found it easy to follow :)

Amazing tutorial and very useful. Thanks dude, Cheer.
Gleb brought me here. I look forward for the part 2 :D simple short and interesting tutorial
Really glad you enjoyed it!!
I've tried it, but the results are quite a lot weaker than shown here. What could I make to improve the splash?
Just found your videos - amazing! Please do more with Blender!!

Excelente tutorial, espero la segunda parte

Appreciate the sub!!
Bro eevee is the final render?
Nice & concise 👌🏿
Glad you liked it man :D
Thanks. You're the best!
I already bake the first simulations and Flip Fluid does not appear, help 3:00
Edit: I just realized that it is a paid addon xd lol
I want to export ABC file to UE4
But only one frame is exported for each export.
Please help me.
Hi bro! Im a beginner. I have a question if you dont mind. How do you edit your turbulance from o to 300 then 300 to 0? Thanks a bunch! 😄😄
Go to the frame you want the strength to start animating on, so it's about frame 32 in this tutorial. Change the Strength to 0. is this a tutorial? cause i was hoping you would go more into detail of how you animated the forcefields to affect the head

Drinner D man it’s thought to know why it’s not behaving correctly. If you have followed each step correctly it should interact with the fluid.
@@K1FFVFX hmmm... well, I did but nothing is working. So, I guess that's that, then.

17 hours to simulate..

Since I posted this video, the FLIP Fluids addon has gotten a lot faster. My video was still part of the early days of development.
@@K1FFVFX IS it better than manta flow???
wow, REALFLOW IS 5,000 Dollars and this flip fluids is 75 dollars, oh my goodness
