I usually have to have a media connection with the show before buying a kit just as a personal restriction to keep me from buying everything under the sun, but you made me buy this on merit of your recommendation. I can't wait to start building it!
Nope, those are molded in grey plastic, only using stickers for the eyes and the sensors on the head. The color separation on this kit is actually pretty amazing, only needing paint in a few areas like under the skirts and a few bits on the backside of the shield. I loved this kit when it first came out back when I graduated HS, and I'm actually gonna buy another for KrowSama's AGE Wear contest hes holding this year.
The shallow parts are Real Touch gray, the deeper parts are Gundam Marker black. I colored the deeper parts first, cleaned up with alcohol, then colored the shallow parts.
Do you recommend using tamiya panel line accent instead of the gundam markers to paint the head? I currently don't have gundam markers but I do have a tamiya panel line accent.
I also saw some people having trouble with it and some suggest to lightly top coat the kit first then apply it. Since I can't find any top coats for model kits here, I'll be purchasing a gundam marker with the age 1 normal. Thank you!

Can't wait for the full reveiw!
what a solid looking kit
He panel lines, paints stickered details and cleans up gate marks as much as he can...
But he doesn't split the front skirts.
For the build video, it's easier to put in the front skirts together as one piece. I usually split them afterwards. :P
In back of the shield did you use a thin paint brush and gold paint to panel line?
Such a great kit
The perfect Mobile Suit doesn't exi...
The Ball is the perfect ms ^^

Never put that stuff on bare plastic. I don't know what's in it, but I've seen way too many people ruin their kits that way.
