Love it Alan, all my feeder rods are middy 5Gx so pleased they are back, and I can get spares. Middy Tackle is brilliant. Just to confirm the rumour to us all though, does Tom Schooley actually have a split cane rod in his rod bag.
A very very very poor disguise.They are exactly the same Just another logo and orange color instead of red. Hope they made a deal with Milo can’t believe they will like this.
Still not convinced about these hard cases myself, or all this rigid eva luggage in general, it all just seems too bulky, and so expensive, mind traditional luggage isn't as cheap as it used to be either.
Try a hard-case out you’ll change your mind the amount of space and weight you’re saving just by now having tubes inside your luggage etc makes massive difference
First mistake they made making the smaller one smaller in height, not everyone has 20top kits and two 16m poles and not everyone wants a massive hardcase for one 16m pole, that smaller size looks to big just for top kits aswell can’t see them selling many because of that
I will buy one l see no mistake. l don't have a long pole and 20 top kits l have a margin pole with 4 x kits so if l can get two net handles in and a couple of rods the small one is for me. I only have a small car so long bulky items just don't go in. The reason l haven't bought a rod case already is because of the long lengths. The kit cases are no use to me either as l can't get my kit in. There are plenty of cases out there to choose from so pick a make that suits your needs. I will buy a Middy it suits me.. Just hope water leakage isn't a problem.
@@davidsmith2663 that’s fine but he said the smaller one which looks similar size to most normal standard hardcases that fit 16m poles in yet that one won’t fit a normal 1.8m graphic section pole in, like I say a lot of people have 13m / 16m poles but not everyone has 30 top kits with them, so for us to buy one for say a x30 x50 we’d have the buy the big one and have it take up more space when we don’t even need it that big, they would’ve of sold loads of smaller one if it was the same height as the bigger one that’s all
Yes l read what he said and he says it was a mistake which l disagree with. Its perfect for many anglers like me and the reason l don't have a hard case already is because they are too long to fit in my car. I have been waiting for a shorter one that is wide and deep enough for my tackle. I've already said if the Miggy ones don't suit buy another make.
@@davidsmith2663 your situation isn’t as popular as others though people either have a margin pole with a couple of kits which a top kit style one would be perfect, Or theirs people with 16 / 13m poles who mostly have 6/9 top kits max well the average angler anyway Yeah theirs match anglers that have lots of top kits which the big one would be perfect just wish they made the smaller one same height everything else is perfect just the height it would’ve sold so many more if they just made it same height cause then it would’ve been perfect for you and many others it would of been suitable for more than certain situations that’s all just don’t get why they didn’t make it same height like Preston etc they have 3 xL one medium one and a top kit style one which is perfect for a Margin pole landing net handle etc

I have both the Milo and Preston Hardcase, and ha e to say,that in my opinion the Preston is the better quality especially when it comes to the zipper
