Some tips I found out - if you have heated seats, pressing the cold and hot slider buttons at the same time toggles each heated seat on. Long pressing on the heated steering wheel button switches the heated steering wheel on and off. Holding the view button on the wheel toggles the dial centres.
Agree . I hate mine it's always displaying things telling me to change gear. I was out in mine the other day freezing my arse off in coz I cant operate.the bloody heating yet . Its bloody dangerous to try n mess with the IPad thing . It takes over your driving n fights you for the control . Thought I was going to die when it did I was only travelling at 84 mph. They could have left so much as it was . It's a tiny pity cockpit . I miss the Seat Estate I had before this model Much bigger n far quicker than the one I've got .
PutThatCoffeDown I agree drove the golf 8 had to stop to sort out heater and deactivating start stop this is more dangerous than using a mobile phone on the move this will be a disaster for sales.
I'm pretty sure that the exterior temperature you mentioned is actually the driver side climate control temperature.I could be wrong but I'll have a look in mine in the morning and apologies if I'm wrong but I'm sure it is climate control.
Is the bottom right the mileage? Im currently driving one with my company and couldn't find where my mileage was clocking 😅 it didn't seem to increase either which was strange.
So bloody complicated the handbook can't explain it. Perhaps Seat don't know how or what it does either. My wife and I now have a debriefing after each journey. Best one is the front assist not working Icon now known as the dirty windscreen Icon.
Which is the worst entertainment system on the planet and is very very dangerous that’s nearly caused me to crash several times and if I could give this car back I would it’s a nightmare to do the most basic functions like heat direction plus the heat controls are not illuminated at night and are impossible to see terrible terrible terrible car just because of this terrible system
Why, oh why, no night illumination of the heater controls? Barmy and a little dangerous. Also how do you sync heat / cool air thus control both left and right from driver’s seat?

Absolutely hate this digital cockpit. All I want is to turn the heating up or down. I dont want it to tell me to take my foot off the accelerator or when to change gear. Nor do I want it to take over my steering . Scared me to death . Had the last Seat Estate much larger cockpit far quicker acceleration. Wish I had never bought this one ... not from you though .
Yep, I've had my Seat Leon for nearly 2 years, I still can't find anything easily, the amount of time I spend looking at this rather than the road s frighteningly stupid. I am actually on youtube now trying to find out ow to change the sound settings after spending 5 minutes going through the 'intuitive' menus and failing to find it. Someone else mentioned not knowing the total miles driven since new - I can't find that either, although TBH I haven't really searched for it, but surely you should have to search for it?!

On the move, buttons are the safest, quickest and easiest to use. A huge mistake by the VW Group.

How do you enter a post code rather than an old fashioned postal address into the sat nav?

No unfortunately not, I find it easier to change the temperature from the screen itself.
