I've recently been offered of a place on the Software Engineering graduate programme at Accenture for next year and I was weighing up the positives and negatives for Accenture against other opportunities. You've helped convince me that Accenture is right for me. Is there anything you would recommend new-joiners should learn before the bootcamp coding courses courses?
I'd say learn at least one programming languages, I suggest JS or Java as there are many roles requiring them skills. I'd also say try and learn about the cloud and specifically AWS or GCP

There are two main graduate recruitment seasons in the UK; one in May-July the other in September-November. Most students prefer to apply during their first semester, as you tend to have a lighter workload. Note, sometimes recruiters extend the deadline if they aren't quite getting enough applicants, or say if a company is expanding it's operations and needs to recruit more graduates than expected.
Yes you get paid on bench, but it doesn't help your case during promotion rounds if you haven't been profitable to the company. My training was remote and I'm not officially WFH I can choose to work in office or not.
