- Our tour in the Sahara Desert Morocco continues! Sahara Desert camels are so iconic. It was really like a dream - sand dunes as far as the eye can see! We hopped on some camels and went riding through Erg Chigaga Sahara Desert in Morocco. We followed up our camel ride adventure with some sandboarding at sunset. It was... different than we expected but the Sahara Desert is truly magical no matter what we are doing. We miss our time in Morocco, spending these 3 days on our Sahara Desert Tour Morocco was a big bucket list item for us and we're glad we chose Erg Chigaga as the spot to camp and hang out with the camels.

We’ve done it in October. We did already a lot in Morocco, but Chegaga is definitly on my top list. As it was just a couple of weeks after the earthquake, we were almost on our own. Still can’t believe how sand dunes can be so fascinating!

What an epic experience in the Sahara Desert! I went sand boarding in Peru but those hills look so much larger! Great content, keep it up and stay wanderful!

It is of my bucket list to go to Morocco! Did you enjoy sandboarding?
I expected it to be more of an adrenaline rush but it was a pretty slow and short ride down the dune lol I think next time I’d try and trek to somewhere taller. Oh - and getting back UP the dune is quite a workout 😅 def makes you appreciate a ski lift lol
