Charlie, "Tedious dealership experience," is putting it very diplomatically. 😛

My uncle had one back in the day, that thing actually ripped. Way faster than a small little crossover needed to be, great handling too

I had this gen in a 2017. Fully loaded with adaptive cruise. Such a good car.

I own this EXACT spec 2017. Got about 80k on my vehicle and it’s amazing. And out here in Napa with this hills and amazing turns and roads it handles incredibly! Then drives right to the farm. Also not an oil leak or valve issue insight!
Fun fact, that m sport package might mean it has the adaptive suspension system in sport plus. My actually has that too! And the sound system smacks!

I'd love to see more reviews and sound system demos of used vehicles!

You don't see any of this generation in Germany anymore, especially in trims/conditions like this.. this got me such amazing 2010-vibes

I have a 2015 X3 35i just shy of 150,000 miles. It's my first car! I've had to replace a turbo, battery, and some other mechanical components, but it still runs like a dream. It can overtake a vehicle with ease on the highway, has a great adaptive cruise control system, and the harmon/kardon audio still sounds great. Unfortunately I've had a few issues that I've decided it's not worth investing in (since I know my car is getting to it's final days), like the iDrive display LCD burning out and an exhaust leak, but man... it's such an awesome car I get to drive every day to school and to work. Great reliability I honestly didn't expect from BMW.

Would be really interesting if you got your hands on a roughly equivalent 2015 Audi, Volvo, Mercedes, Lexus to compare how they’ve aged. Sounds like this drives beautifully, but those plastic squeaks and stuck buttons are things we’ve all probably experienced in an old BMW. Curious how others compare!

    I've always liked F25s. My dad had a 15' 28d and a 17' 28i

Hey Charlie, In the future, could you do cheaper cars like a Kia forte or Chevy Cruze? I would LOVE a used car review series along side the new ones, as the used market is huge.

I'll look into it! Unfortunately people don't tend to heavily research cheaper cars like that, they just buy or don't buy, but I'll still take it into consideration!

F chassis cars love to rattle from all the plastics- it’s awful for people with ocd- coming from someone who owned an f10
