- So, for 32 years the illusive Frank Thomas no name has been hiding in boxes, waiting for me to find one. Is this the box where he was lurking? Can I finally, after all these years, find a Frank Thomas no name? Or is this just another box down until I eventually do come across a winner? Some people say, "Why not just buy one? Definitely cheaper than opening box after box!" I say, "What's the fun in that!" Join us for this vintage search for one of baseball most exciting cards! The Big Hurt, will he hug me, or yet again hurt me?
My favorite type of ASMR. Ripping packs lol
Glad you enjoyed!
This was awesome. Can’t believe I didn’t get a shout out about playing basketball w Joe Oliver lol. You also exceeded the maximum amount allowed of Ventura / Ryan jokes lol
My bad! I’ll make sure to correct the issue on future videos! You definitely were out there hooping it up. I made the same amount of Ventura/Ryan jokes as the number of blows Ventura took! 😂😂😂
there was one time that Frank did not follow Shilling when I pulled it. Shocked the heck out of me.
I’ve had some interesting pack collations before. It always make me think something is suspicious. However, it also does happen. I am going to pull a no name one day! It’s going to happen!
I read thomas nnof weren't in any cello boxes
Yeah, there are all kinds of rumors about where they were packed and in what product. Some say cellos (but only from the Northeast, or Midwest). Some say only rack packs, some say only vending boxes. Some claim they’ve seen them in regular wax, so who knows. It’s not as precise as say the 89 Fleer products when searching for Ripkens and The Big Unit where it’s only in certain serial numbered cases., so it’s kind of a hit or miss. I’d love to pull a NNOF, but product keeps getting harder to find and more expensive every day! I’m not against trying it all out to see what happens!
@cabscards4756 I just ripped open a few today still have a few boxes. No luck. They were cello too. I read a rumor they were only on one pallet in PA where they were printed and employees grabbed most of them. Maybe one day I'll get one.
I hope we all will be that lucky to find one. It does make for a great story and chase though.
i saw box oening that had jim abbott jaun gonzeles 3 franks no griffey rookie cup
I actually have pulled a decent amount of Griffeys out of these boxes and Sheffields! They seem to be common in these last few boxes.
i hear jim abbott is hard to pull
Yeah, Abbott is tough. I've pulled a few. That was a big chase card back then!
@@cabscards4756 i bought the the complete set still sealed today also the 2000 set too
I have a full sealed too as well, I think. The two hardest cards to pull, that I know of from that set is the Frank Thomas NNOF and the George Bush. Neither of which I have ever pulled.
1st like... wats up CAB!
Thanks for the like. Not much up, just got some 90 Topps boxes in today and decided to crack one open. Been a few years since I opened some of those packs, was definitely fun!
@@cabscards4756 and that's all that matters my friend! Not sure if I said before but I picked up a box of 87 Topps not long ago as well. Nostalgic purposes and I also did not eat the gum LOL
@@marshmangunnar9150 yeah, the gum is definitely frightening at this point. I love picking up old wax. I like chasing the old ball stuff. So the No Name and the 2010 Lincoln cards are always on my radar. 87 was fun, I still love pulling a Bo out of that!
What's wrong with the gum? Lol
It’s like a fine wine, aging perfectly for the last 32 years.
You want?
I have bunch
I’ll show you a picture, mint . I wrapped in case
No, I appreciate the offer. I enjoy the chase more than anything. Although I did give in and buy a few of my other favorite chase cards a few months ago.
