It's been a long time since I used Porzmiffan Zouzee or Porzmiff 'aarber on a regular basis, but I definitely do not recall seeing all those tower blocks! just lots of green EMU's sparking back and to! The two stations always seemed to be fairly people-quiet except at about 5pm on a Friday, and the 'red-eye' from Waterloo arriving at around 7am Mondays - full of matelots!
That one time I visited Portsmouth Harbour I tried to get a full shot of The Spinnaker Building but I couldn’t so I hopped on a ferry to Gosport to get it. That and I did have a bit of a wander around there and Portsmouth Harbour that was back in 2014 my last visit to the UK before my passport expired.
This is an amazing video, full of laughs and train information. You convinced me to go to Portsmouth and Southsea. Love the class 377's and class 444's. Hope you have a great summer.
Brilliant video! I was down that way the other day (well technically I was at Portsmouth Harbour) Got a couple of vids for my fledgling channel! I’m gutted I didn’t see a 313 when I was down there - still don’t have footage of one of them! Anyhow great video! Also 444041 - glad to see her appearing - she is the star 444 of the fleet in my view!
Perhaps Southern should of inherited some of the Class 313s from Great Northern as Great Northern have replaced the Class 313 with the Class 717 Desiro City on the Northern City Line and Hertford North loop line.
I enjoyed it its also in the wcl but next time you got to Portsmouth and Southsea can you go on the upper level for a better view i have not been to Portsmouth and never will I guess because my parents like Poole and im only a kid
They still occasionally run to Portsmouth, but are more spread out including Barnstaple and also work with the Castle sets on the Cardiff to Penzance corridor.

Jarrod: Here on what I believe is the Portsmouth Direct Line
Me: That is correct
Portsmouth & Southsea is also on the West Coastway Line

Hi Tornado
Can you do Newcastle upon Tyne, Manchester Piccadilly or Liverpool please
Could you do Fratton since it's the station before Portsmouth and Southsea?
Love the video
7:47 what was that?
Did anyone see the steam train on Saturday going to Hastings fro. Southend east
Yep!
Is there a reason why there were no takes from the longer platform?
313 is like the 507/508 merseyrail old stock
well it is in the PEP family so its the same family of trains
What happened to the 158s

By the time South Western Railway have finished re-liverying (is that a word?) all their trains, it'll be the end of the franchise
I prefer the old livery anyways
@@mrquickogaming I prefer old liveries too
Great video
