@@TheBluetiger5 I think me and some other viewers can agree that he needs to watch their *REAL* Super Bowl snacks. There's a small fraction of the tailgate party food is at. Maybe take his kids to the watch party too.
The sausage they ate was wrapped in a tortilla. With all the flavors of Jerky they have, I don't get why they went with that one. I do know there are much better video's about Buc-ees.
I love your kids being involved. And as a lifelong Texan I can tell you no one would bat an eye if your whole family wore Buc-ee's onesies to Buc-ee's!!!!😂

Buc-ees is ridiculously awesome.. but I was sad that Jolly didn’t showcase the best parts. The restrooms are unbelievable, and the bbq is decent. I love seeing people’s reactions to everything Texas. We have so much pride, for good reason!

It should be stressed, this is not a typical petrol station in the U.S. The vast majority are MUCH smaller.

Buc-ees is a national treasure, lol.
Buccees also has bbq . They didnt show that.. its really good especially the beef brisket.
That was Jolly being diplomatic with the tour of Texas that included Terry Blacks BBQ, a TexMex restaurant, Waffle House, WhataBurger etc. They showcased items that were not directly a comparison to any of those. These guys will never forget their impressions of Texas, and the food.
As a kid in America, I shared food and drink with my friends all the time.
What I Like About Them Is They're Comfortable With Their Sexuality As Straight Men, There's Nothing Wrong With It You Don't Have To Make It Weird, Everyone Is Entitled To Their Own Opinion, But Still 🤷
Fresh bbq....all day! The owner/founder is a really cool dude! He pays his employees well and is a philanthropist! There's a video out here on RUclips that features him.

I've never been to Buc-ees but I have recently been to Iowa 80 World's Largest Truck Stop in Walcott, Iowa. That place is huge! It has food, souvenirs and everything a trucker would need for themselves and their truck plus showers, a Barber shop, a dentist and a chiropractor. The are also vintage trucks displayed in there.
And iowa 80 has the separate building truck museum. The only theater where you can request what movie to watch. A American mall like food court. Then there's whites/PETRO truck stop off I-81 EXIT 205 in Virginia. Collossal truck stop. There's a food court in that one too and a quaker steak and lube with a small car museum. You can ride the shuttle bus from your 18 wheeler parking spot to the main building. And then there's kenly N.C. petro truck stop. Almost the same size as Iowa 80.
I live in Texas and used to stop by Bucees every week. The breakfast burritos are pretty good as are their briskett sandwiches.. I always pick up some banana pudding. They also have a sandwich/prepared food area. I used to get the Texas Chili dogs. They used to have some fish and chips but i havent seen that in a while. Buccees also has the record for the longest carwash as well as the largest convenience store in the world.
Not at the same location, the Car Wash is at the Katy location.
The bathrooms are super clean and well maintained! People plan their bathroom breaks on road trips out of Texas because you know you’ll never have to wait. 💙
Bucee's newest latest location is in Sevierville, Tennessee, in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains.
There is a pretty funny video out there of a couple going to Bucee's and the guy had to have the onsie and his wife dared him to wear it back the next day. It was pretty funny. Its the south, so, no one cares. Onsies are pretty standard Walmart attire.
Have you watched the Eva Zu Beck 'European goes to First Rodeo' video? I know that you did the Jolly rodeo one but it was mostly just eating. If you like rural life the Eva Zu Beck one is probably more interesting (no offense I tended to the Jolly guys).
Anyway, always fun watching you and your family react.

Beaver nuggets are puffed corn, that are coated with something like salted caramel or white cheddar. There are tons of different flavors but those are probably my favorite. I don't have a Buc-ee's near me so I order mine off of Amazon.
Buc ees also has housewares....camping equipment....clothes and toys

Theyre finally building a Buc-ees here in North Carolina, about an 1½ hrs away from me. The closes one to me right now is almost 3 hrs away in South Carolina. I cant wait to go.
It's really not a Kolache (Koladze) but a Klobasniki. Though real Koladzes are available in Texas.
The food at Buc-ees is awesome! The briskett is incredible and I laughed when you said look at the size of that soda, that is a medium sized soda, they come in large and extra large. I bet you would love pecan pie, a very Southern thing. Buc-ees are across most of the South and Texas.
Buc-ee’s just opened their largest store in Kodak, TN. It’s 74,000 square feet (6,875 square meters) with 120 gas pumps. They are going to build an 80,000 square foot (7,432 square meters) store in Ocala, FL. It is scheduled to open in 2025. Buc-ee’s is pleasantly out of control. Now it’s time for HEB to spread their wings and start building stores…………… well, everywhere; And they should start any within a thirty minute drive from my house.
Not for long lol. The biggest Buc-ee's is coming back to Texas. Its probably gonna stay in TN for like 5 months maybe, i havent checked the construction in a while. Its being built on the outskirts of Austin. Also NO! HEB needs to stay in Texas! lol.

Jono, do you and your spouse never bite off the same spoon or fork or anything?? 😄😄 I can't imagine life if we didn't. Same with the kids' spoons and forks. Didn't you ever have to "clean up" one of your kids' ice cream cones? This is all stuff we did when I was growing up too, so eating off the plate of a sibling or parent wasn't a big deal and I've never had a problem sharing anything with my best friend. "Oh my gosh, taste this!!", is something you'll hear from either one of us, lol.

Just went to a Buccees for the first time this past week. Not only was it as big as it seems, but it was a complete zoo inside. It was so busy it was absolutely insane. We tried the brisket sandwich, I would recommend.
I've lived and traveled throughout the world due to my job and am a native Tennessean, but I lived in Texas for a couple of years and they were some of the happiest in our family's life. We fairly well cried when we had to leave but I do have a great deal of family there so I keep in touch with them all and still have a lot of love for Texas; the people, the land, and the hunting. It's not Tennessee (we've been here for about 240 years and counting) but it's a very close second and if I had to live anywhere else it would be the Hill country in central Texas and I like it when the people of a state in America unabashedly love and have some pride in their state, though a few are quite hard to have any love for. Hope you make it to Texas and have a great time.

I have been to Buc-ces and it is huge! They sale everything! The food is amazing and the fudge is delicious! You will be in there forever!

I'm Dutch and I used to like jerky, but since a few South African mates introduced me to biltong, not so much anymore :)
Luckily we have a very good company here in the Netherlands that makes it... But I should really try to make some of my own some day.
The largest Buc-ee's in the U.S.A. is in Severville Tennessee. The new 74,000-square-foot travel center in Sevierville features 120 fuel stations, snacks (including the iconic brisket and beaver nuggets), award-winning restrooms and a carwash.
All Buc-ees are big, some larger than others, but none of them disappoint! Even those of us that live close to one, will go there to get dinner, snacks, clothes, etc... They're just awesome!
I"ve watched quite a few of their videos and the sharing food thing puts me off as well especially when they turn to the crew they have with them and share what they were eating...Get more than one or bring something to divide it with.... Oy . Great vids
I've said this in any video where you've mentioned it now - they share food like this because of their Korean cultural involvement. Especially Josh who grew up partially in Korea. In Korea it is part of the culture to not only share food, but even feed your friend or family member.

Buc ees started in Texas and there are several in Texas as well as other states.
I've been to Buc-ee's in Tennessee and Kentucky! They are making their way to West Virginia and Ohio!! They are pretty awesome! I LOVE JOLLY!!!

I was born in Texas and still live here. I would never live anywhere else. I have been around the world many times and to every state in the U.S. I come home being glad I live here. I have had family in the U.S. since the late 1600's. I can tell you there is no better place to live. Your family is great and I can tell you that family is the most important. May you and yours be bless in all you do.
The restrooms are huge and clean and at the same time, art galleries.

Bucee’s is a fuel station chain in the US that is mostly in the South. They are way bigger than most fuel stations, and are comparable in size to very large truck stops.
We always share food like that unless someone is visibly sick.
Longhorn Lester recently (like last week) stopped at a Buc-ee's on the way to Galveston. he did a lot of footage inside the store.
As a southerner in the US, I have had biltong several times. It may not be as popular as beef jerky but we do have it here.

Gas stations are a “thing” bcuz “road trips” are a “staple” of being an American. I’d say 1 in 3 families, have a long road trip with the family in their memories.
National Lampoon’s Vacation IS a bit of REAL memories, embellished slightly.
My parents took us somewhere EVERY weekend & it would turn into a family reunion most weekends.

Come see us in Fort Worth, Texas! We have Buc-ee's here and you will love the historic Fort Worth Stockyards where many Western (cowboy) movies and television series were filmed. And let's not forget about the outstanding BBQ and smokehouse restaurants that are all over the Dallas/Fort Worth Metropolis! Heck, I'll even take you to Cattleack BBQ! Some of the best BBQ you will EVER taste!!!!
On his channel Ken Domick of the KPD productions channel has a video where he spends 24 hours and eats all his meals at the Buc-ee's in Orlando Florida
Buc-ee's is split into 3 sections. There's the regular "gas station" type area, a deli area, and a "gift shop" area. Each of those is about the size of a regular gas station in America. The gift area has everything except guns, the deli has any kind of food you expect in Texas, bbq, bakery, jerky, parfaits, etc. The gas station area has a solid wall of bagged jerky, a long wall of soda fountains. Best thing about Buc-ee's is their restrooms. I don't know about the women's but the men's are cleanest you'll ever see, and it's massive there'll never be a waiting line.
Jolly only went to about half the store. There's more areas with outdoor items, hunting gear, clothing, home goods and other stuff. Jolly just hit the food area. They didn't even mention the restrooms which are immaculate.

Praline is pronounced "praw leen", and pecan is pronounced "peh kahn' or "pah kahn". Note that a "pee can" is something one uses when one does not have indoor plumbing.
Kara and Nate did an awesome Buc-ees video. They spent 24 hours at one and had all three meals there. You should definitely check it out and they show more of the store.

Best "gas station" I have ever been to. It's an experience, it really is.
BTW if you ever get food from bucees the club melt and brisket is amazing. They are must try items non negotiable. You can buy the brisket by the pound or as a sandwich. They missed some of the best food there. Also when driving the steak and cheese burrito is amazing and not as messy to eat.
Add a large Truck Stop (more than 100 pumps) to a Superstore -> Bu-cee’s
Nobody has figured out how Ollie's brain works. They have been together for many years. Josh has no children, but Ollie has two. Josh's wife is a very good cook, that was on a famous cooking contest, and came in second.
When did Ollie have a second
As far as I know, Ollie has one child, a young daughter. Josh and Gabi are trying to have a baby.

Biltong is sold in Aldi’s in the US. Very similar but I think the flavor of jerky is better.
Kolaches are huge in Texas because of the huge Czech influence. They will also be sold flattened out and topped with fruit.
When you stop in be sure to use the restroom before you get back on the road. Buc-ees toilets are cleaner than what you will find in many five star restaurants or hotels.
They started with one, but now there are several locations, not just here in Texas anymore.
I think the one they went to has 60 fueling dispensers. No 18-wheeler trucks allowed; just cars and light trucks.

I live between 3 different BucEes. 😂. What sucks about the one in Denton Texas is they have an amazing pond next to it with huge Bass but they kick you out if you try to fish it. 😂
As someone who is use to things being Big in the U.S.A. Bucees took me by surprise. Hundreds of cars and 100 gas pumps at least.

Here in georgia our buckees in warner robins there is roughly 125 petrol pumps and yes they have bbq briaket among other things..as you can plainly see on here. If you come stateside you deffinitely have to stop here along with your bass pro shop adventure lol
Believe it or not, that’s the smaller Buc-ees of the bunch. Not sure when you’re visiting exactly but if you want to stop by Buc-ee’s the larger one is by New Braunfels, Texas, which is between Austin and San Antonio.
Massive store, two incredibly long and wide rows of pumps, and even a dozen EV supercharger stations.
The largest Buc-ee's yet opened last month (June 2023) and it is located in Sevierville, Tennessee BUT they will constructing an even larger one in Texas.
When you go, try to go around 11 a.m. The bigger ones start pulling out the BBQ'd meats and they announce it so you can watch them chop it up. They put on quite a show.
