Halo Rider perform the song "Don't Let It Drag You Down" on The Extended Play Sessions. HALO RIDER live is a kaleidoscope of deep grooves, atmospheric instrumental passages, harmonies, and poetic flashes in a musical terrain that ranges from acoustic old-time to amped up Hill Country to electrified blues-rock. The music of Halo Rider is refreshingly new, yet feels very familiar. Anne Harris and Markus James have created one of the most hauntingly beautiful recordings in recent memory. This is truly music to be savored.

i researched you because i love blues i also love the thought of everyone being the same you know minute differences i am 53 years old graduated around 1988 in a somewhat mixed community in Arkansas i would say 45% black 10% Hispanic 10% other 35% white we believe it or not got along for the most part we had mixed couples no big skirmishes you'll always have those few lug-heads but nothing major i long for that time again my folks never said or taught me any different i grew up never hearing the "n" word and when my siblings ever said derogatory things such as that my parents wouldn't have it they weren't bleeding hearts they were just true Christians they believed everyone was a child of god to god we all looked alike lol joking but true sorry to criticize you are from what i have researched you are an American born and raised here the song "dont let it drag " and the way you make me feel when you articulate is that same feeling i get when my father would tell me me "son judging a book by its cover is like throwing a lump of coal out before checking for diamonds" you later refer to yourself as an African American woman isnt that contradictory to saying our differences are minute i do appoligize for being so deep i understand if your just trying to make a buck and i am drunk so i might be reading to much into this dialogue
