Choosing only 5 summer fragrances for the rest of your life is a big ask. However, I still had a tonne of fun making this video, these fragrances make me passionate as they have a lot of sentimental value for me! What would be in your personal 5 best summer fragrances you would keep for life?

Very nice choice. I also have Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Intense EDP on my future life list. I would definitely purchase 200 mL bottle, such a staple. I personally enjoy clean white musks in this.
In more of a broad address to the world of fragrance, I want to say I 100% agree with you about Layton by PDM overtaking Aventus as the standalone king of men's fragrance. Got to sample both of them recently for the first time, and Creed as a whole feels like a brand relying on status quo.

is allure homme sports extreme really a summer fragrance ? And by summer I mean really high heat. I've read some comments saying it becomes too cloying in hot weather. What are your thoughts ?
@@Levi-ql2os It doesn't really bother me even in high heat but yes it's a little sweet and it might be cloying to some people. But I think it's perfect for summer nights. I love this fragrance because you can wear it in almost ANY occasion.
I would definitely go with the EDT for daytime use during the summer.
@Levi I tried extreme and I would suggest you to ignore it and buy the original version of it.
thought I would like Paulas Ibiza but It smelled like literal leaves and not even like a fragrance, besides that great list!

Burlington 1819 screams fresh “old money” . It smells so unique and luxurious. Also Oceania from Roja is amazing. Unfortunately it’s too expensive for me, but the quality is unmatched.

Welcome back! Missoni Wave was one of my favorite cheapie pick ups last year. Light Blue Intense is a classic. Snagged me a bottle of Invictus Aqua (2018) synthetic freshie but smells clean. Summer will be interesting.

1. Elorea Water, punchy ylang ylang, neroli, and jasmine with a bright citrus aquatic vibe, super unique citrus scent.
2. Hermes Un Jardin Sur le Nil, warm mango and herb vegetal fragrance. Like being in a blooming orchard surrounded by a vegetable garden on a sunny day.
3. Commodity Magnolia, blooming magnolia and fresh sweet florals
4. Diptyque Vetyverio, bright refreshing citrus and florals with warm spices, woody vetiver, and musk.

For me 5 five summer fragrances for life are: 1. 40 knots - fresh baby wipes dipped in the sea with woody backbone. Can be found for 150€ ml online
2. Mfk - aqua celestia cologna forte. Imagine aventus without pinneapple with added flowers, perfromance better than aventus. 70ml can be found for 150€
3. ATH - ozone. Pina colada beast mode, 100€ 50 ml
4. Orto parisi - bergamask. Bergamot vetiver possibly patchouli, beast mode. Can be found for 110€ 50 ml
5. PDM - Greenly. Imagine drinking apple juice in freshly cutted grass. Unique. Can be found for 140€ 75ml
I dare everyone to find me better summer fragrance selection in terms of performance, uniqueness and price point

ADG Profondo is the best for summer at least for where I live.
When you speak so highly of Chanel’s Edition Blanche, are you talking about the EDT or the EDP? Because they do smell different.

I use DG light blue intense, it smells great. I don't understand why some people claim that it smells like a rotten egg 😒

Afnan rare carbon as car parfume has impressed everyone that ever stepped foot in my car. It's a cheap clone of ombre leather by Tom ford. It smells like sweet freshly bought leather products. Better than any car refresher I've ever had. If anyone has leather in the car you will be impressed.

You mentioned almost all Chanel allure fragrances. But the original Chanel Allure Homme is classy in a bottle
After trying all the D&G light blue for men, I came to the conclusion that the dolce and Gabbana light blue au intense for women is the best it embodies the cleanest freshest summer scent out of the whole collection

My mind is blown finding someone else having this same opinion! I have never been able to get behind the men's line on Light Blue because I'm one of the cursed few who get a strong stale raw egg smell from the whole line. I had a random memory recently, of an ex who used to wear Light Blue edt for women, and I remembered liking it so much, that I wore it a few times myself. With this memory in mind, I sampled the Eau Intense for women and was blown away! I am taking your comment as a sign to pull the plug :D
@@lerroyoriema5121 the men’s eau intense is fine on my skin, but I usually layer it with Moschino Toyboy, which works amazingly well. But I do prefer the pour femme if pushed to choose.

Aventus Colonge. Don't care much about compliments but I got 4 unsolicited today. Much better performer then then the OG as well.
My last bottle of Creed and it's good. Back to Chanel and Armani for me though. Agree that the cologne is better than OG by far for everyday use.

Parfums de Marly Greenley (yep I really adore that apple-shampoo vibe ;-) stands out as a very pleasant fresh and fruity summerscent for me)
Parfums de Marly Percival (wear this one on somewhat more 'formal' summer occasions: family visits etc)
Terre d'Hermes EDT (I sport this fragrance all year round, all seasons)
Givenchy Insense Ultramarine (nostalgic vibe for me +++, wore this as my signature scent in the 90's)
Davidoff Cool water (Still love it after all those years, also an nostalgic vibe)

I feel so validated with ur no. 1 spot. I sampled ahs, ahs extreme and ahs blanche and when I came home only one test strip had an amazing dry down for me which i describe as orange but creamy. Next day when I came back to the store I had to double take cause most reviews always choose ahs extreme and blanche over the original which is the best for me. I ended uo with the original one and received my first compliment on the way home by a taxi driver lol
So the Original one is better then the extreme?

How does Edition Blanche perform ?
Luna Rossa sport is an all time favorite. But it’s not safe for hot weather. I have no idea why it’s called sport when the vanilla destroys all freshness after the heat kicks in. My dad loves it too and he’s always said the same thing 😅

If Prada Ocean had longevity for more than an hour id say that would be an amazing summer cologne. It has an amazing smell at first but dies off so fast.

Missoni Wave doesn’t work good in cold weather. It’s rather be use in hot summer and early autumn days!
