Ofc faides movement is insane but i dont think it is what makes him a good player but it supports him. If these movement techniques werent in the game I still believe hed pull of a unique playstyle and clutch 1v3s. He never peaks the same angle, hes always one step ahead of the enemy, he knows how to play his surroundings and so on.. His movement just comes on top of these to make it all happen faster and for style points ofc
I agree, which is why I always try to highlight those things in the videos. I think he built a great brand around movement, but his IQ, decision making and speed or processing information makes him a class above the rest. You know he puts in tons of hours and grinds the game, and I think part of getting great at anything is sinking hours into it again and again and trusting the process.
Would love to see you make another video talking about Shivfps one of the top Bangalore mains out there before he got his injury. There's only two videos of him, would definitely love to see more. Great video as always, Raynday.
The vast majority of players in this game do not possess the technical resources to accomplish this. Watch The Gaming Merchant's video on fps to movement abilities video. If you ain't got the ping, you ain't got that sling. 🤷

Been watching you for a little while now and enjoy your commentator style (Will defiantly give you a vote) one subject I'd love to see you make content on, is the behind the scenes of being an E-Sports commentator, the daily in's and outs of it , what is it like and what your journey was getting there ;-P
Love this concept! It's something I would love to do too, but I'll be real - it gets a bit hard to do it at events. @@RayndayGaming Cool so I put some thought into this response, sorry it's so long lol but here's a few ideas for ya, so you know take it or leave it :-p , I also work in the entertainment industry, totally get what you mean about events being super tiring , its a mixture of the adrenaline, excitement and exhaustion from those long days, so what might be cool, now I know its a mission and as long as the event organizers give you the go ahead, it would be really cool to get some behind the scenes footage, like get a small 'Skeleton Camera Crew' to follow you around and you just do you, from time to time interact with the camera and see if some of your co-workers wouldn't mind interacting as well , you know like how they do most behind the scenes stuff. Now for other content ideas, how about making short video's on some basic stuff, on questions a lot of ppl have, these don't have to be very long we talking 3min, 5min, 10min or longer vids it's up to you, "How do you actually become an E-Sports commentator?", "Tips for anyone wanting to get into it" , "What is your daily schedule like, how do you fit 'normal life' into such a crazy schedule? 'A Day in the Life of an E-Sports Commentator' (You could Vlog that if you wanted to) ", "How does having a traditional sports background play into being an E-Sports Commentator and do you need it?", "What makes a 'Good' Commentator, what makes a 'Bad' Commentator?", "Do you have any vocal training or warm up routines and how do you deal with those 'off days' we all get from time to time?", "How do you look after your voice at those big events, so you can perform at your best?". Because at the end of the day , the industry of E-Sports just keeps growing and growing and there is definitely a space for these types of conversations and you are in a great position to answer theses questions, I have few other ideas but this comment is getting really long now, thanks for reading and have an awesome day!
Yo Raynday, loved the video as usual. Well produced and broken down. I would love to see you breakdown a relatively unknown player called TrixX (3TrixX). He played with Gdolphn and HisWattson and did a solo to masters in one stream challenge. Really good but fairly unknown player. Deserves way more recognition for the way he plays the game, worldclass imo.
It's almost unreal how different the game is if you play on m&k, almost sad that playing on console or controller can turn the game down so many notches in terms of fun
Controller is probably a lot more fun in general if you are just looking to relax and game. MNK is a bit stressful and as you can see, if you want to play at this level it takes a TON of practice. I think it's a grass is greener kind of feeling, playing on MNK myself. I'm nowhere near doing all of this
@RayndayGaming it's definitely preference based, for me personally one of the few things that are still fun about Apex is the movement which is why I switched straight to m&k after the tap strafe changes. Even so, the game feels like a whole nother animal and not nearly as sluggish/slow paced. I'm nowhere near this level obviously, but it's undeniable that m&k gives you the full capability of Apex movement & imo it's kinda sad that every player can't experience that. I think everybody would be happier in the long run if we all had the same movement capabilities even if it takes a nice AA nerf as a trade to make it happen. Just an opinion
Amazing video. I have watched this Faide video like three times already because I was bored but this time watching it with you I got to observe more than I normally do. Btw this is not his best game in my opinion. There is a video of him having to use his Q in the first 2 seconds of landing because he didn't get a gun but still drops a high damage game without dying. Those are the kinda things I love watching. Not him grabbing a PK and one shotting people on zips when his enemies barely know how to even super jump. It is cool to watch bit it actually does not do justice for his skills. Look that video up if you haven't I'll edit and share the link here if I find it. @RayndayGaming You missed a very important thing that Faide always does. He never takes a fight he is not gonna win. That is a straight 2v1 without a cover. It is practically impossible because of the game design. @19:23 He tap-strafes onto the second guy on the ledge but even with almost full health he disengages from that fight instantly without even trying to shoot. He disengaged INSTANTLY (he chose to leave before they decided to shoot him) and still he got shot in the back. If it is any average or even a decently high level player we would take a chance there, making it too late for us to leave the roof either putting us on our knees or taking deep flesh damage. Flesh damage means takes more time to heal, keeps the teammate having to fight the two enemies by himself for that long etc. His quick decision to pull back as soon as he saw the two instead of one that he expected made a huge difference, more than what most players would understand. I thought I would mention it here.
