Defo better to be a little unwell in the warm rather than sub zero and thanks for sharing the costs as pro rata per day, thats very good.Get well soon.
@@KevinBrown-lo3ce Tell me about it Kevin - been for a check up and all ok - but I am still no where near 100%. Strong anti-biotics and they seem to be doing something that is positive 👍
Was feeling exactly the same 12 months ago Richard, and it took two lots of antibiotics to sort me out. It’s not an overnight fix pal so be patient 👍 Stay strong 💪
If the Chinese and Indian bikes don't sell at the expected level, then they'll start discounting the price on new bikes. At which point trade ins and used prices will plumet. Its a gamble!
Good point!!! I guess it's always a gamble from any manufacturer, but you are right, the Chinese and Indians will not mess about - they will just reduce the prices to kick the market 👍
Interesting thoughts again. RE’s bike do tend to be heavier, that’s a valid point. I’m not sure on the push for RE to build higher displacement motorcycles, ai know there has been criticism leveled against them from us, in the West, to build those bikes. RE would have to feel that they can take sales from companies that have been making larger CC bikes, which historically the Indian/Asian markets haven’t desired like us in the West. That’s been a criticism against the Japanese companies in the Dual Sport lightweight ADV segments. Ex., Yamahas discontinued WR 250 dual sport. It was a great bike but we all wanted it in the 450-500cc displacement so it would be better suited for the road portions. Now we have RE, CF Moto, Kove, and to some level Triumph and KTM/Husqvarna building motorcycles in that range. It has become interesting times. Has all that research into lightweight performance cost KTM to the benefit of other manufacturers? Will we see more capable ADV/Scamblers and retros in the 450-500 range? Time will tell. Feel better soon Richard.
RE really need to be careful with this new approach, it is only a soft adv (obvious by wheelsize) like the v-strom 650 but that market will not be easy to get into, trying to convince me/others away from a v-strom650 to a RE 650 (or larger) would be harder than the hardest thing - the RE will be extremely heavy too....Hope they haven't shot themselves here, easy to waste a huge amount of money and this will have very limited appeal, very limited. The specs will not compete imo. If they have gone 750 then ouch, they are really taking a chance..... The Voge is a proper bike, to get one for 9k is amazing but to see them at 7500 - well, that is a bargain indeed - second hand market on that brand is getting better all the time as they are building quite the reputation.
Wow, fantastic for you to get away to get some sun! Enjoy & relax! Still in love with the 400X Scrambler! Edit: so many white skins there on the beach it looks so much like Brighton! 😉 Edit2: Personally, I'd also look at the CFmoto 450MT because you're quite tall.
Back in the UK Scott - interesting flights which will be covered in a future video 😆. As a passenger, I was shouting at others to sit down when the APU failed on the B737 at Manchester airport, and engine 1 had to be kept running to compensate for the lack of electricity in the aircraft from the failed APU - therefore, based on the air induction from this, people do get sucked into the body of the engine - does no good for the engine to be fair 😆
Enjoy yourself Richard 😊it’s better weather than in N-u-L where I used to live 😅 750cc would be good but can’t see it being a huge hit? To be honest there’s a glut of bikes too many on the market far too many. Some good news cmc have bought out a dealership in Bridgend South Wales prices for bikes in winter always fall but can’t believe the new prices of the Enfields and yes there’s some excellent prices out there atm. Have a great time Richard 😊😊😊☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️
it,s a "no brainer"......just go down to your local friendly honda dealers, and purchase a new cb1000 hornet for £8,995. or £9995 (sp). and stick a set of panniers on that..... ***you meet the nicest people on a "HONDA".....
It's great that Honda had the forethought for what is happening around the world - and to kick at a 1000 for 9K at 150BHP is incredible. I am so tempted and as you say, the nicest people ride Honda 😆
Wot no bikes, I was looking forward to your negotiation skills in the souk and you ending up with a pregnant camel 🐫or something equally unrideable in the desert🛵Oh well back to blighty and an equally unrideable T120 and 400X in the ice and snow🤣Make sure you leave those pesky viruses behind, get well soon 😷

You are right Kevin 😆 - still got the cough and it's 12 days now - this is weat happens with RyanAir flights and the spread of diseases 😆
@ you need to get yourself properly checked out Richard 12 days is quite a long time 👍
@ ironic……I have an appointment at 4.15 today 😬😕😀

Makes the Honda NC750X sound like even better value…especially at Doble Motorcycles who are selling new 2024 pre reg ones for £6500!
Hi Simon, the NC750 is a great machine - highly underrated, for sure! But, for £6500, that is a bargain - especially from Honda !!! 👍

That's a great summary Pinkie and all relevent 👍. Let's see what 2025 brings to the scene and industry - I suspect an interesting year ahead 👍

Did you rock the casbah mate? 😂
Of course 😆 - I was singing all the way - with the odd cough mid song 😆
I feel Chinese & Indian bikes have to be 5 to 6 grand to get any kind of volume sales
You are right - if 80% of the bikes are 6k or less, then they have a chance of winning.

swapped the missus for a baby camel - gets delivered to the UK at end of January. She has gone onward for medical experiments 😆
