Confused between Sonet HTK Plus and Exter SX (O).. Anyone please help.
Exter is based on i10, and its a tall boy concept like a wagon R with a ground clearance like an suv, and it's wheelbase is smaller than the sonet hence it's handling and stability will be similar to what you get in a i10,
As for sonet it's a sub 4 meter car bit bigger than exter, plus a bigger wheel base, and width is bigger too, similar to seltos like a shorter seltos hence handles better,
If your use is city then exter will do, but if you expect a better handling in the highways then sonet will do, Sonet kerb weight is more than a exter so it is designed to handle more powerful engines in the form of a 115 hp diesel and a 120hp turbo petrol too.
So the features won't decide your choice, it's the usage that will decide your choice, the 1.2 in the sonet might feel underpowered than the exter since sonet is a slightly bigger car and a heavy car, so as for a 1.2 engine exter makes sense than a sonet, and exter does not get the diesel or the turbo
Don't go exter SX(o) if you are planning to buy exter spend 1lakh and get exter SX(o) connect, I have exter ex(o) it doesn't have navigation feature, htk plus mostly comes around 13lakhs
Exter to be compared with punch and not sonet

@@francisd6423 yes so it's not logical to compare a exter and a sonet, and both handles differently. So just get your usage decided, for me in a highways point of view I would prefer sonet. A sonet is logical with a turbo Or a diesel, but if you want a good highway handler but a limited budget 1.2 is OK
