I brought Kia sonet last year. I Really love this car. I used to drive 500+km most of the time. I drive without any break. The car never tired me. More comfortable to drive. Credit goes to iMT.
How much mileage you are getting in iMT ?

Happened to see your podcast. As you are discussing several models and brands collectively, in some places we are missing to know which product you are talking about. If you watch your video again, you will understand what do I mean. So, just display a picture of car/model name/brand name behind you people. This will enhance the attraction to audience
Hi Asir sir, we booked sonet and gonna take delivery by this Wednesday, what ever you are saying is absolutely true, we are three and our kid is just one and half years old and the main reason we went to sonet is the interior quality, which is little premium when it compared with its cousin venue and mainly due to automatic wide ranges available in sonet.
Last week while going to Goa I saw an Altroz with L board with full speed on Ghat roads.... There was one big pot hole on the way.. He was not able to control on time... It was hit so bad in the bottom of the Altroz.. Sound came inside my car after hitting the pot hole.. Luckily nothing happened while the car hit the pot hole.. No one was coming in the opposite...... Drive safe everyone

Exterior looks ok. But boost in sales depends on their back seat comfort. Also a good thing is they've bought in Manual for diesel variants too. But enna irunthalum namakku Nexon thaan ❤
Also they had all the data from Hyundai. So their base was set. So technically is no big deal. Nevertheless one should not disregard the sheer brilliance and stability in market.
Diesel engine seekers will shift towards Kia sonet, tata is purely relying on that 1.5 diesel but Kia has 1.2L, 1L turbo petrol, 1.5L diesel options man
Plus the diesel in sonet is a vgt turbo than the one in nexon
why Renault /Nissan is not accounted for - Magnite and Kiger !
Your opinion and thoughts ..on why they are not aggressive considering they have their production plant in India.
As usual a nice review... But someday pls plan to have a discussion on The disadvantages/ shortcomings of having high feature cars!.. like powered seats, ventilation seats , rain sensing wiper, sunroof maintenance/ replacement cost when they fail accidentally.
The more you have electronics and sensors, the more it will fail in floods simple, not even floods the more it might fail as time goes

sonet is the only car with torque converter automatic transmission in diesel in this segment ... i was expecting you to talk about this... little disappointed 😞
I am having sonet DCT, driven 10000 kms in q
1 yr, till now there are no issues, power is excellent, mileage is avg 10 to 12 in cities and 14 to 17 in highway. There is a small jerk and lag in
2nd and 3rd gear, but if you drive in sports mode it won't feel, build avg, suspension stiff, but could have worked on their steering, good for bit enthusiastic people with features, 2nd row is bit pathetic. LED Headlight visibility very poor.
Overall good to buy diesel for fuel efficiency, and for those who drives occasionally can go for turbo petrol.
If they made with a good build in this facelift, then this is the best in segment.
Whatever when there is no performance what is the use of that product?

Ventilated seat cars already provided by Mahindra in XUV300.
The main success reason is their service network, because most of the dealers are Hyundai based. Hence Kia made the numbers easily.

Worst suspension in sonet … that will show when you travel in bit bad roads.. it feels like travelling in auto.. also rear seat is cramped… but looks can be subjective… I hope they address the suspension and rear seat confort in facelift.. i hope you checked this during test drive?

Xuv300 is underrated. Brilliant engine and chassis. New version is coming in February 24.
I was about to book 300, you can keep one cloth or duffle bag in the boot. The major problem is boot space ...
I am ready to forego SunRoof (which is very undesirable for me) for 360° camera which is highly desirable in New varients of Sonet HTK+, HTX , HTX+. Mileage of Sonet is lower by 20% because of its increased weight which is about 20% more thanthe similar comparable other brands of compact SUVs
Finally I chose HTK 1.0 L Petrol DCT on 20th Dec 2023. I might upgrade infotainment screen from 8" to 10.25 " after delivery and will explore for adding Airpurifier separately.

@@NaaiSekar-cc4ef Finally i bought HTX 1.0 L Petrol 7DCT (that means dual clutch automatic) and very happy of my final decision ( build quality, comfort, convenience, space performance, it has no Airpurifier, no 360° camera) so far only 640 km 1st service is due at 1000km.

@@NaaiSekar-cc4ef suspension is improved smooth enough , I do not find any jerk/ jump or any issues. Sonet is heavier than the cars in that / similar catagory.

I had liked Sonet very much but ended up with buying Nexon. I am not disappointed with Nexon. Super comfort and had no issues with service as well. I would like to mention the service has improved so well that the relationship rep calls me constantly for any issues in my service and keeps checks in. They have implemented a new operating procedure in handling customers I believe.

The sudden intrest in sonet for me is because of two main reasons.
1) i loved nexon ,new nexon is awsome ,but quality issues and service situation is a pain. There are atleast 5 users who had to visit service centre on day 3 of purchasing
2) hyundai is considering safety seriously. Verna got 5 stars ,they mentioned that in exter launch also .
Unless tata fix the issues with nexon and their service ( i hope they will) ,sonet it is..
Verna got 5stars but they also mentioned that footwell, and body shell frontal structure was unstable beyond further loading that means the structure might not withstand further load or pressure

@@pranavjs that means the car crash tested at 65kmph, and un stable at further loading means it cannot withstand further speed, which can be interpreted in many ways regarding safety, as a air bag alone cannot save the passenger if the structure collapse, and a unstable shell can be thrown out too.

Kushaq and taigun are same from the Vw group, there will be only minor differences in features, the engine tuning might vary so you won't go wrong choosing either of the two, for hill driving a 1.5 might be or will be better than the 1.0 tsi

My father has ciaz diesel. I am 5 11. We really love the car. Excellent mileage. Very comfortable long drives . Big legroom. I am thinking to buy kia sonet.

@@senthilkumar2300 sir , i am 90kg and i have sit in rear seat for long drives . I dont see a kind of discomfort , that its a negative one. For me the car is okay except the DCT version, i see a pull in the second gear, even without having leg in the accelerator , in even a slightest uphill .
