- Watch 🎥 #AusAirForce deployed a C-27J Spartan to the Defence Pacific Air Program in Papua New Guinea to provide airlift support to the PNG government.
During the deployment, No. 35 Squadron personnel had the opportunity to train and fly into remote highland airfields, transport PNG Defence Force personnel and supplies, and support Humanitarian and Disaster Relief operations.
DPAP is part of an Australian Whole-Of-Government effort to increase presence and capacity in the South West Pacific and strengthen Australia’s regional partnerships.

ADF should gift the Spartans to PNG.
Why would we do that the c27 j is still got a role to play for the raaf
@@johnslapp1023Just FYI, the RAAF will more than likely discontinue Spartan service within the decade or earlier. Acquisition of new model C130s will likely fill the void as the Spartan won’t be needed.
