- Royal Australian Air Force exercise Pitch Black 2022 has wrapped up in Australia's Top End.
In this video we look back at the exercise and highlight the first time attendees from the Japan Air Self Defence Force and Luftwaffe, as well as the Mindil Beach display and RAAF Base Darwin open day.

ik i watched them coming in for landing at darwin airport. 2 euro fighters were like 100ft above our heads. They landed right next to each other. MY ears took awhile to recover after that. Also saw F35A's. Crazy loud man. EVEN THE CLASSIC F/18 AND F/16 LOL
Typhoons are surprisingly smokey. Sukhois are ridiculously massive. And the F15 - still sexy at 50. Beautiful shots.

Outstanding footage and being a 55 year old forth Gen serviceman, Navy, Navy, Navy, Army. But to to see so many nations, men and woman with airframes from all over the globe was simply sublime, thanks for sharing it brought a tear to my eye.

@Griffin Taurus 👹🎭 Mirage was chosen because it was its job. Su-30 is a multi role, air superiority jet. India used the mirage for precision bombing - in 1999 and in 2019.

My uncle was a RAAF pilot, he loved it and music and the comradery! I get it now, it's a total adrenaline rush! He died with his plane, between Darwin and Timor, because of a refueling error, wouldn't happen now - thank god! Keep safe guys! 👍

Airforces like Indian Airforce Pakistan Airforce are there just for the excercise. They unfortunately dont feel its important to show.
Should check YT Channels like Aviation wall ? Covers regular content like this, and yes IAF allows them to film it, just check out latest IAF day show, a lot of cockpit views in that too, and this years' Republic Day was a great occasion to set a standard 👍
@@priyan9shu wow so much hostility. And yes I follow that channel. My point still stands though. Most videos by Indian armed forces are of really bad quality. And pretty basic. Things are getting better but they could be alot better. Maybe be less of a stuck up next time and address people with respect. But iam guessing you never learnt much manners did you?

India's SU-30 MKI are Highly Advance compare to other SU-30 operated by other Countries. Indian Air Force also operates Rafale F3R and Mirage-2000 but we use SU-30 MKI in Air Combat Exercises with other Air Forces.

The F-35 is more cost effective and cheaper as the Eurofighter. The JSF has stronger stealth characteristics and won’t be picked up by radar, in contrast to the Eurofighter, which only possesses frontal radar avoidance. Given its greater agility, the Eurofighter will be far more advantageous in dogfights. and the JSF topspeed of Mach 1.6 is significant slower to the Mach 2.35 of the Eurofighter
