We will be launching this fragrance in the middle of the month at the store I work at. After smelling the tester I predict this will be a highly returned item. A lot of people are blind buying this and you are correct it’s not what they think it’s going to be. I personally don’t like it very much. It’s a floral vanilla to my nose which I don’t care for.
Thanks for sharing …you may be right about that and I typically have no expectations for any new releases but the name is SOO suggestive. Also maybe the earthiness I get is from the florals and not the almond I’m not sure

I’m a Vanilla, gourmand, tonka bean fan & I returned this. 😂
Maybe they should take the bitter almond out.
They should change the name to Random Sex or Pharmacy Sex-it was very medicinal & the vanilla is not vanillaing. I wish they had sampler sizes I could try to see if I could like after some time. Had to return because it’s too pricey not to wow me.
This is one you have to smell first or watch a solid unbiased review cause the name is what got you to pull the trigger huh 😆

I bought it based on your recommendation. I also bought ginger biscuit on your recommendation & love it! I just got this & I agree it goes a different direction with the vanilla. Honestly I am not sure what to think at this point. I’m going to give it a little more time.

I’ve tried this and it’s definitely not fresh and I was actually surprised you described it as so. To me, it’s a creamy yet slightly powdery almond scent enveloped with a generous dosage of vanilla. It smells like the dessert, marzipan, to me and I love it. To me it’s definitely gourmand and sweet but not cloyingly sweet to the point where it’s sickening. I love vanilla forward fragrances in general and gourmands as well and I didn’t have high expectations like many people did before its release. I just wanted to try it out for myself and I was quite pleased with it as a vanilla lover. However, the price tag is abysmally high and it doesn’t really show in the packaging and the acrylic plastic bottle cap which was a minus for me. I only spray perfumes on clothes rather than on skin because perfumes may take a turn for the worse should my body chemistry disagree with the scent and turn it into something foul, plus it helps a lot with the longevity for fragrances in general.

Yes the name made me expect something different! I was thinking this may smell like a luxury vanilla 28 with a seductive elegant touch. Wow so this a fresh vanilla scent hmmm….. travel size here I come 😊💀. This was a 100/100 review, I haven’t smelled it but everything you said just made so much sense 🤍.

I went to smell it which I’m so glad I did because i almost bought into the hype and bought it. But ultimately I didn’t like it. I was scared to spray it on my skin so I skipped it. I’m definitely a gourmand and super sweet vanilla girly. Lol

I smelled it in Neiman Marcus yesterday and I do NOT like it! I feel it’s overhyped. The almond note is too potent. I did it on paper and on skin and no ma’am! lol

This fragrance was so disappointing to me...How do you name a perfume Vanilla S*x, yet you don't put the vanilla note in the forefront. This was more disappointing than Fenty. 😩

Not hating on TF but this perfume smells horrible!!!!! Coming from a perfume lover/addict, I don’t get any vanilla or any freshness in this fragrance. All I can smell is a dirty public toilet 😅! To me, this fragrance is definitely the worst in the TF Collection

I’m a huge fan of vanilla scents, and this ain’t it! You’re better off sticking to sugar cookie scented fragrances from Bath and Body Works, Victoria Secret, and Walmart. I love his Tobacco Vanille, so I was exited for this launch. This is for private school children, not no grown adult. I’m ready to take a hot shower, and wash this mess off. Don’t fall into the marketing hype, and smell it before you buy it. In fact don’t purchase it.
