I hadn't been on a bike in 40 years until 11 months back I saw the RE 350 classic, and then saw the price of it, went out and bought one and have not looked back.
@Neil_Llewellyn Triumph are renowned for being snakes about warranty work. It's so bad I'm convinced that dealers are on some sort of financial incentives to discourage warranty work.Your dealer must be the exception to the rule.
@@pggp273 I must have been lucky. I've had 2 sets of Disks with pads, and new indicators all around on my Tiger 900 GT. . My Speed twin has had new clocks because the paint was peeling and the head stock bearing replace for notching. all without any protests. I think the dealer plays a big role in your experience owning a bike. In my area there is only the Triumph and Yamaha dealer that are trustworthy.

I would of put KTM as the worse manufacturer. The amount of people that are getting screwed because of KTM's mismanagement is shocking. Harley is not far behind. Apparently overpriced, unreliable motorcycles are not a good business model. Especially when their service network has a predatory, unsupportive attitude. Great videos. I bought the 765 RS 2024 (A1moto) for my first full license bike just passed in march from a CBT, its a hell of a upgrade over the benellli leonchino 125, insurance for the 765 RS £270 bikesure fully comp as well amazing since the 125cc was £130! considering i held license for only 3 months before upgrading!
Triumph deserves to be called the best. Their motorcycles are reliable and perform well. They make a variety of machines at all different price ranges. Their twins and triples are legendary. They have the Rocket 3 and arguably the most authentic scrambler and bobber in the industry. Their style/quality per dollar is incredible. Its a shame the worst part about Triumph is their fans. No lie, a tiny spec of oxidation on the brushed aluminum has Triumph owners ready to jump ship. Slandering the entire brand over easily resolved issues constantly. Expecting their Triumph to look like a flawless diamond while it sits in their garage. Meanwhile Harley Davidsons puke oil out of the intake, score the cylinder walls, and cough up lifters. Harley fans chalk it up to "Harley charm". If Triumph fans supported their brand with the same energy as Harley fans support their brand.....Triumph might actually make it up to the top! R 9. Nice choice. I have been vacillating twixt the Tracer and the MT 09 SP. Same sweet motor for all. The RSR is even winking... again, same motor. Royal Infield's provided a throat punch to the biker legacy big four. Triumph has impressed me every time I get a chance to ride one. Yep. Both are 'riding' the factory-restomod bike movement at 10/10's. Lets pray the biz failures provide a learning curve, on both sides of the cash register.-- laissez-faire + caveat emptor Ideas? Best bargain bike this year? Royal Enfield 450 Himalayan, pre-registered but brand spanking new from Sycamore Royal Enfield, Peterborough (UK) for an on the road price. £5000. An absolute steal. And no, I don't work for them, I just happened to pop in for a tin of chain-lube for my Interceptor on Christmas Eve and James showed me these bikes over a cup of coffee. I had to do something to warm up the hands! So a new year bargain for anyone who fancies it. I think he said he's got about ten bikes at this price. Personally, I'm sticking to my 411 Himmy and the Interceptor for a while yet, but for anyone who's in the market for a great bike at an affordable price, what's not to like? Merry Christmas to all! While the 2024 RGs and SGs are the best tourers HD has ever produced, they are really very good but, yes, there is a big fat but, so many don't want or need a big heavy bike with a big heavy price tag? Where are the smaller mid-sized bikes that look and scream HD? Nowhere, just things that look like a Benelli. Have a great Christmas.🎄

Ask Pan America owners about their fuel pumps, HD is not fixing the problem, just replacing the fuel pumps under warranty but tough titties once yr warranty runs out. And no recalls to epoxy coat the inside of the tank to sort the problem. 2024 models have coated tank.
I don't think the US got an R9 in 2024. Is good looking, but way too track focused for me. Not sure anything rang my bell here in the US for 2024, but I like a whole lot of bikes coming this year. Just demo'd a 2025 Scout Classic and it was a peach. The 2025 RE 650 Classic is gorgeous. The 2025 Guzzi 850TT and Stelvio in the red white & blue are also outstanding. New Kawi 1100 Ninja looks to have gotten some great engineering updates. I demo'd a 2025 Tiger 900 Rally and despite it's dirt bike pretenses, it was a tremendous street bike. Looks like a great year to buy a new bike to me.
Riding 50 years and I can't see myself ever parting with my 2008 bonneville. Bought at low ks and since racked up 46000 with only oil changes and a few tyres as expenses. Best bikes in the world 👍
My pick for top bike of the 2024 is the rebooted Indian Scout. (But maybe since that is the '25 model year then it doesn't get to count into next year, LOL.) Indian keeps upping their game and this hits the sweet spot between easy to ride approachable bike to attract new riders (which the industry needs to do right now), and incredible performance for the cruiser segment. Well done!
2024 is going to be remembered by the launch of dozens of Chinese bikes and the fall of KTM. In my opinion, the best overall brand is Yamaha, the best emerging maker RE and Japanish industry remains being the most competitive. Thank God environmental regulations are not destroying the market. But Europe is missing dozens of models available in other continents due to its absurd emission regulations.
Triumph needs to be careful to not over extend themselves with too many models like ktm - Ducati too (as VW has problems) All of the manufacturers need those small displacement bikes to sell in volume if they want to sell top of the range stuff. Halo bikes at $30-40k will sell to the rich but the masses don’t have much disposable cash for expensive toys - an e-bike is a better buy
Bit out of touch with Yamaha, but the r9 looks to be a winner, but what if they bought back the rd 350 ypvs. Cheap as chips to buy , you could ride it to work, race it or tour on it, I raced one in the dim and a distant past, and a mate toured to South France on one. Bring back 2 stokes, start the revolution now.....
I think the worst bike is the fact that the manufacturers are not giving the customers what they want in a small displacement ADV. I hope CF Moto 450 MT is the bike of next year. Also feel that BMW 1300 is pretty Fugly. The absolute worst manufacturer has to be KTM. Followed by a close second Harley Davidson, due to their lack of entry-level, interesting motorcycles that they can build. Especially my sore spot, the lack of a Bronx.

Must be your dealer. I have a 2020 Tiger and A 2020 speed twin 1200 and had no issue making warranty claims on both bikes.

Totally agree. Blown fork seal on my 1200 Rally Pro at 200 miles. My dealer ate it for me. Triumph is a joke anymore.
