In his defense, Zack did an electric BMW scooter last year I think. He also did a Vespa before that. But I still agree with you. Would love to see him on a Honda ADV160, and I know he likes that scoot
One problem is that there's just not that many in the US that are legal to take on a California highway. I mean, for MY2024-2025, I think the whole list, excluding no-name Chinese (but *including* major brands, so this is arbitrary on my part, but so is the definition of "scooter") and anything carbureted is: Japanese: Honda PCX160/ADV160 Suzuki Burgman 400 Yamaha XMAX European: BMW C400 BMW CE04 (electric, already done in 2023) Piaggio Liberty 150 Piaggio BV 400 Piaggio MP3 530 (three wheels) Vespa Primavera/Sprint 150 (already done in 2022) Vespa GTS/GTV et. al. 300 (looks like we don't get the 310, as the 300 is what got certified for 2025) Taiwanese: Genuine Buddy 170i/Hooligan 170i Kymco Like 150i Kymco People S 150i Kymco AK550 (looks like we don't get the new AK575 either) Kymco CV3 (three wheels) SYM CABO 200i/Cali Classic 200i/Havana Classic 200i/Monao 200i/PCH 200i/Fiddle 4/Fiddle III/Lambretta V200 Special (I think this are actually all the same base scooter, and through two different importers) SYM Jet 14 SYM Citicom S 300i Chinese: CSC E-RT3 (electric) Genuine Rattler 200i/Urbano 200i Keeway Vieste 200 Keeway Sixties 300 Royal Alloy GP300S So, there's definitely a few options, but many of the ones that would make more sense on US roads just aren't here. Honda has the Forza 350/ADV350 and Forza 750/X-ADV that just aren't here (although the NC750X DCT is extremely closely related to the Forza 750/X-ADV, and Zack did the outgoing generation when it came out in 2021), Yamaha has the TMAX that's popular in Europe and just not here at all any more (although Zack and Ari did build a racing TMAX), Kymco's 300s seem to be gone in the US now (probably because they moved to a 350, and the US got a different 300 to stay in 279 cc emissions anyway) and the new 575s aren't here yet, a lot of SYM's stuff doesn't exist here, there's a bunch of new Chinese stuff in Europe that just isn't here... Oh, and I got pretty arbitrary on the electrics I included - I think it's actually questionable whether an electric motorcycle is highway-legal at all because they're motorcycles, have motors, and they're less than 150 cc, but I picked ones with performance on par with 150+ cc motorcycles.
@@bhtooefr you’re right, but don’t forget he’s done a Grom and Navi, and the Metacycle. So there is an alternate route he can take to avoid the interstate system
@bhtooefr Scooters rock! I own a Burgman 200 and Kymco 400 and they both get 3x more mileage than my Kawasaki and Honda bikes. Most days I just wanna ride easy and have a place to dump my stuff.
It would be interesting to know how many Daily Rider viewers own more than one motorcycle. A scooter's limitations don't matter when it's the second, third or fourth addition to your garage.
One of the bikes that was long discontinued here, in the EU, but holds a soft spot in my memories, is the DR-Z400S/SM. Now that Suzuki decided to resurrect it, I'd like to see it in the Daily Rider for 2025. I've been waiting for a long time for this new iteration, but I also fear that it'll come short of many peoples' expectations, especially because it's still a 5 speed.
Zach, another season of absolute top-tier commentary-genuine, skilled, and refreshingly unbiased. Feels like the kind of content I should be paying for. For 2025, how about the all-new Z900? Curious if it redeems itself. And the ZX-6R-long in the tooth, sure, but still a true gem in a vanishing category. It deserves the spotlight, and honestly, the internet needs you to give it the deep dive it deserves. May the inline-four sportbike scream on-thanks for keeping the passion alive!
Another great year! Really nice work - thank you and Revzilla for this always anticipated show. Next year: BMW S1000XR please - just need you to somewhat validate my most recent purchase.
Would love to see you cover the DR-Z4s. The DRZ has been a staple around town and trail bike in my garage and would love to see your thoughts on the new updates. As well as a little more screen time for Suzuki offerings next year 🤙
I owned an "adventure" bike for a decade. It drained my desire to ride. I sold it, bought an RnineT Pure, did a series of sensible mods and have ridden more and further in 6 months than I did in 6 years previously. Don't be a fashion victim, kids. Buy the bike that stirs desires, not what you "think" you should buy. While I love what Zak and Ari do, picking the R1300 as the "best" bike of the year is utterly inexplicable to me. Normal people can't afford it.
I rarely agree with the daily Rider picks. But I completely appreciate your effort and dedication riding all these bikes. I think you dont realize how vicariously we live through you, since most people wont have the opportunity to ride all these machines. I am pretty happy to been able to watch most of all episodes and deeply enjoy your content, regardless where my own opinion may land. Hope to see more in 2025 and best of holidays to you. Would love to see a Daily Ride of Speed Triple 1200 RS and the new Honda Hornet 1000 SP when available.
Keep up the great work! In 2025, I’d love to see you ride the following: 1) Moto Guzzi V7 Sport 2) Ducati Panigale V2 3) Suzuki GSX 8R 4) Triumph Daytona 660 5) Honda CBR650R w/E Clutch
Can you please do an episode on the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, the new Bear and maybe even the new Bullet. It would be great to get your take on how RE are fitting into the daily ridersphere compared to more mainstream competitors.
I know 300cc bikes are probably not very popular in the USA, but seeing something like the YZF R3 or even the R15 would be nice (and personally help me decide if I'm going for one as my first bike for going to work). Thanks for the awesome job and I love the videos!
Judging from what they said on a few podcast episodes, the R3 is horribly out of date and underpowered compared to the current newest bikes in the class (the class being up to ~50hp and 500cc or so), so they rarely even consider it for anything. R15 is India only so no one has any clue what that bike is (I’m guessing from the spec list it’s not better)
I am always happy to see a new daily rider video. It doesn't matter if it's a bike that I'm interested in or not, it's just fun to watch and you do such a great job, thanks.
Zack, you are just amazing and thank you for helping me get back into it after a 12 years hiatus ( last bike was a Vstrom 1000 and a Suzuki GT750 two stroke "water buffalo". Question, I now have a 2020 Super Tenere XT1200, have you ever tested one? It's an amazing daily rider! Thank you again and a Happy New Year to you!!
In May I bought a Suzuki GSX-8R. I don't think you reviewed it, it definitely deserves it. There are a few things I don't like about it, especially the seat which I find very uncomfortable, also the suspension, although good, would be better if it were adjustable, and the windscreen could be better for my size. However the rest of the bike is terrific. The engine is fantastic, very user friendly, power in the low RPM range where you're going to spend most of your time, excellent transmission and quickshifter, all the tech you need and none that you don't, I got 64 mpg on long trips, a bit less around town, handling is excellent, maintenance is easy, and to top it off I think it looks great and was $10,300 new out the door including taxes fees and delivery. You can race it, you can ride it to the grocery store, it's fun on twisty roads or highways. An all around great motorcycle.
I really enjoy your insight, knowledge, and a little bit of comedy mixed in on your daily ride. I gain a lot of insight and really appreciate you doing what you do. Cheers! 🍻
Partially thanks to your video, I picked up the 890 SMT. This bike is an absolute riot! As much as I'm worried about the future of the brand, and therefore my new bike, I don't regret my purchase. It's the unicorn bike I was looking for.
Excellent series. Yours is the best video motorcycle-review source that I watch on RUclips; I’ve followed your series from Day 1. You’re entertaining, consistent, and informative. I watch every video, even if I couldn’t care less about some of the bikes you review. I hope you can continue this for at least a few more years (I assume you’ll move on at some point). Cheers, and keep up your good work.
As a daily rider I would suggest to consider maintenance, reliability and long term dependency. Definitely there are certain brands that consider these
Thank you Zack! I actually made a switch to an ADV bike in a large part because of this show. Looking forward to another year on the daily ride man. Would love to see the Indian Sport Chief, the updated 117 Low Rider S, the new 2024 HD Road/Street Glide, a Kawasaki z900RS, 2024 Yamaha MT09 SP to name a few. Thanks again!

the wind protection on the z900 is actually a lot better than any other naked bike i've ridden. and other than my ninja 300, i've only ever owned naked bikes. maybe i'm just the perfect height for it, and others may not have the same experience, but the wind just seemed so smooth on that bike.

So, there's definitely a few options, but many of the ones that would make more sense on US roads just aren't here.
I would like to see your review of a Honda cb650r. Happy New Year!
Please make it the E-Clutch.
Check out the XR in the episode of CTXP with the touring bikes vs the ZX10 - its really cool 🙂
@@anthonysilvestri4946thanks. Will do!
These are the best reviews on the internet, thanks for fantastic content to Zack and Revzilla. Would love to see your take on the Rebel 1100T.
Would love to see a Daily Ride of Speed Triple 1200 RS and the new Honda Hornet 1000 SP when available.
brain says Z900SE, heart says go for the V100 Mandello. Anyways, happy new year and thanks for all your hard work 😁
Great 2024 wrap-up. Looking forward to the daily of the Tiger Sport 800 and perhaps a GSX-8R.
Keep up the great work! In 2025, I’d love to see you ride the following:
1) Moto Guzzi V7 Sport
2) Ducati Panigale V2
3) Suzuki GSX 8R
4) Triumph Daytona 660
5) Honda CBR650R w/E Clutch
I bought the MG V100 Mandello 2 months ago. So glad to see it on 4th position!
Great recap on the years’ bikes. It’s always a good day when a new Daily Rider video drops.
Great year of Daily Rider videos! Appreciate all the work that goes into these videos.
For 2025 a Yamaha Tenere 700 and a KTM 390 Adventure R, please.
Thank you for a fun 2024 daily rider reviews!
This is one of the best series on RUclips. Great content, fair assessments, and very practical.
I really enjoy your insight, knowledge, and a little bit of comedy mixed in on your daily ride. I gain a lot of insight and really appreciate you doing what you do. Cheers! 🍻
Love daily rider. Every bike video is such a must watch
One of the bikes on my wishlist for 2025 would be the new Suzuki DR-Z4S/SM
Enjoyed another year of videos, especially from the commuting perspective which is how I spend most of my time on my bike. Happy new year!
Partially thanks to your video, I picked up the 890 SMT. This bike is an absolute riot! As much as I'm worried about the future of the brand, and therefore my new bike, I don't regret my purchase. It's the unicorn bike I was looking for.
Well done.
Appreciate your efforts.
Happy new year!
Definitely there are certain brands that consider these
Thanks for another great year of daily rider! I cant wait to see how the Yamaha R9 will do. Lots of exciting stuff to look forward to. Happy new year!
Always enjoy your video's and honest opinions. Especially your Video about your Dad! Awesome!
We love you here in Grass Valley Ca Zack! Happy new year and thanks for all the rad rides. Looking forward to next year. Personally I would love to see you review the best used bikes you find , day under 5k. That's always fun! ❤
Hi. TY for your daily rider series. This has been interesting to watch over the past few months.
Due to the encouragement I've gotten by watching your videos of getting into motorcycling(on top of years of enjoying watching f9 videos), I've finally bought my first motorcycle (the speed 400, Due to availability in nearby shops and so on). TY so much!
Hopefully I don't regret buying a bike so low on your list :P (but my budget was pretty close to 5k, so what you gonna do)
Thanks to you, Ari, Spurgeon and the rest of the team for a great year of reviews and videos, it was throughly enjoyable! Blessings to you Zack and everybody else for 2025! ...this year I will try to hopefully get back on the saddle, but there are so many options...
Thanks for all the awesome daily rides this year, Mr. Courts! 👍
Probably watched every episode and thoroughly enjoyed them all.Thank you.
Haha!! That montage at the end was awesome!!
Happy New Year! Keep the videos coming.
Many thanks for your valued vehicular critique. the kit was cool, and as for the kaboodle...
Thank you for producing critical motorcycle content! RUclips is full of motorcycle “experts,” but few motorcycle journalists who skillfully walk the tightrope of content integrity. Happy New Year!
thanks for all your reviews and videos. they're both entertaining and informative.
the wind protection on the z900 is actually a lot better than any other naked bike i've ridden. and other than my ninja 300, i've only ever owned naked bikes. maybe i'm just the perfect height for it, and others may not have the same experience, but the wind just seemed so smooth on that bike.
Zack, thank YOU for consistently producing high quality content over all these years with your partners in crime, Ari and Spenser (with a slight hiatus when you were behind a paywall).
Can’t wait for next year. Thans for makin my winters bearable. It’s a bit chilly here in Finland for at least six months a year. So lots of time to watch these great videos 👍. Keep up the good work. BTW thanks to You and Ari, I bought a bike recommended by You two. Used but good 😂.
Thanks for this 2024 season of Daily Rider! It's a real pleasure to hear your thoughts & opinions on those bikes. Your giggles every time you pop a wheelie is priceless 😁
Suggestions for 2025: it would be nice to hear from you and watch you try out daily ride "classic machine" of the 20th century 😎
Great work Zach. Thanks for another year of daily rider. Looking for forward to more!!!!!
Episode 100 was great and a note worthy honorable mention. Thanks for all the videos.
Eventually, you need to do the best of the best list. Compare the top of the list for each year against each other.
I recently switched to an R1200GS for my daily ride.
It is very hard to argue that such a bike isn't the best choice for that kind of riding. It's just great.
Remember when we had quadrants? Luke remembers…
Thank you Zak for all the great videos you gave us this year. I really want to repeat what others have said about how important and in this day and age, refreshing to have someone give their honest opinion on not just what’s right but what could be better on the bikes you’ve ridden.
All the best in the new year and hope to see a lot more of your rides to work.
Zack and Ari make watching and listening about trends, products, and motorcycle technology well worth being a subscriber. Continued success gents, continued success. 🤜🏼
Daily Rider is my favourite motorcycle series on the internet!!! Thank you Zack
Gotta simply love your candid reviews. Granted, these are subjective but I get genuine feelings rather than (paid) influencer vibes.
Zack great Daily Riding season 2024🤟🤟😍😍
Missing Husqvarna Svarpilen 801😂😂.
Can't wait for 2025 riding scores
Wheely montage at the end ❤😂
Fun and informative videos, I can’t wait for the 200th episode!!
Happy New Year, Zack! Thanks Revzilla!
I’m lining up a Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and would love to see a daily rider review!
This is my favorite show since The A-Team was on tv. Would love to get your thoughts on that CFMOTO Ibex 450 when you get a chance.
Thank you for being a wonderful spokesperson for those of us who do commute to work on two wheels.
I would love to see high mileage used bikes reviewed. My commuter racked up 60k miles over 8 years. Someone should speak to how well bikes hold up over time.
Zack, you do a fantastic job with these reviews. You build a unique and immediately recognizable theme around it. I am waiting for each of these like I am waiting for another episode of my favourite series. Thank you and keep it up.
This is a great program, revealing the value of a sustained effort. Hearing about bikes from such a relatable, humble, but highly qualified dude is really great. Cheers.
Thank you Zak for your great work. I appreciate your passion and honesty during the reviews. I know one thing and that is I will not be doing wheelies at almost 69. I do like watching you do them, but I prefer to keep my front wheel on the ground. Dave from Nova Scotia, Canada
I so appreciate your insights. I only wish I could add more bikes to my stable. My 2000 BMW R1100S and 1994 Ducati 900 SS SP, feed my hunger. Thanks and keep the videos coming Zack.
Thank you Zack and the revzilla team for another great year of daily rider.
Wish you and Ari a good start to the new year.
Good work, sir. Very good.
Wish list? Maybe a new category for "common used bikes".
Please shuffle the yearly boards together. Does a Kawasaki versys still sit so high up on your overall?
Zack, Love watching daily rider reviews! Most of us will never😢experience most of the bikes you manage to get your hands on. I recently traded my 2016 Africa Twin DCT, for a 2025 Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. Would love to see you ride the Himalayan to work this year. Thanks!
Thanks for all the videos and wheelies Zack. Looking forward to more in 2025. Best wishes!
Enjoyed the montage of title cards in the opening. The closing montage of wheelies was even better. Great job editing team. Thank you Zack for another great year of candid reviews.
Looking forward to 2025, thanks for the roundup.
Thanks to you and the team
Keep it up Zack! Daily Rider is one of the best series on the RUclips. Looking forward to 2025.
Long may he ride
Cheers to 100 episodes!
And, here's to 100 more!
Thank you Zack and Revzilla…from Jakarta, Indonesia
Thank you Zack for keeping it real and practical all along. I very much enjoy your opinions and hope to see 500 more. Sincerely from a KTM 200 enjoyer
I would love to see more Royal Enfields on daily rider, especially the Bear 650 and Classic 650. But any RE would be great. Love the show!
Zack, thank you for your unique, thoughtful, and experienced insights into the bikes you've ridden this year and over the last four years. You have a viewer and reader for as long as you choose to create content. You are appreciated.
As for 2025 wish list items, I would love to get your thoughts on the Yamaha XSR-900. It doesn't seem to get any attention from major outlets or smaller channels and as a shortlisted bike against a few you've already looked at it would be very helpful. Plus, I just think the bike looks great.
I’d love to see more reviews of unusual bikes like that 1924 Harley. Great work as always!
Zack is a legend. Keep those daily riders coming.
