Hey guys, super pleased to be back this one - another WORLD RECORD speedrun improvement!
⏱️ We saved THREE MINUTES AND FOURTEEN SECONDS off of the previous run guys! ⏱️
This is the second run I've decided to take a look at again after reading the comment section on a previous upload. I wasn't happy with the Firehawk Failure from last time - I accidentally sent a Firehawk out with the wrong loadout - which actually added around 20-30 seconds to the run on its own.
It struck me that it would be faster and easier to take down the base Primary Objectives with the Firehawks right away, and then seek some Venoms to kill afterwards. Managing the Firehawks would then became a lot easier. I also discovered that it's actually instantaneous to switch ammo types when they land, too...
So when considering the previous run, I noted that the longest part of the run was destroying the Nod vehicle stockpiles, and as I always say, attack the slowest objective(s) first where possible. With that in mind I decided to take them out on-the-fly with ground units, rather than waiting for Firehawks to reload (again)!

Additionally there are quite a few subtle, yet important improvements:
1) The initial assault on the first Objective is faster due to better micromanaging of the Grenadiers.
2) The Secondary Objective is more efficient.
3) The Bridge Engineer (Third Objective) arrives earlier.
4) The Firehawk Bay is captured 41 seconds earlier! (Notice the Crate.)
5) Less time and resources are used to capture the final Reinforcement Bay.

It was a shame that only one tank leveled with the Crate at the second base and that I didn't get the kill with the MCV mine drop. I think that the Reinforcement Bay was blocking the mines. Other than that I'm really happy with the run!

I am at this mission too. It is weird why people not consider this hard just like Alexandria and Crotia.

I think a lot of people actually just really hate this mission to be fair. They'll play it and not come back to it.

in fact, this is a very simple mission (like all other missions in the campaign) you just need to learn basic microcontrol and all problems with missions will go away
