Hello! I'm a arte-educator in Brazil and i have a class to talk about this fantastic software, i really apreciate your iniciative to do this for free. Is a amazing content e very dinamic. Thanks!
Quote from wiki: In mathematics, a stereographic projection is a perspective projection of the sphere, through a specific point on the sphere (the pole or center of projection), onto a plane (the projection plane) perpendicular to the diameter through the point. It is a smooth, bijective function from the entire sphere except the center of projection to the entire plane. It maps circles on the sphere to circles or lines on the plane, and is conformal, meaning that it preserves angles at which curves meet and thus locally approximately preserves shapes. It is neither isometric (distance preserving) nor equiareal (area preserving).
Thanks man, I was using this tool for sometime now and you helped me figure out all the camera details in a short time. I will apply them in my projects.
This is my first video I'm seeing of yours and this is really helpful! Do you know if there's any way in MV that you can record actual camera movements? Like if I wanted the camera to pan over one of my sets is that a possibility?
Hey! You can get a rotation motion in your camera normally from magicavoxel. If you want something more specific you could try Dima's camera script. You can speak with him in the magicavoxel Discord server! :D
Hey! Thank you for your kind words. That is an animation made in Maya. Then when the character slides to the right and wipes the frame it's done in After effects. 2d animation.. Hope that helps you. Let me know if your have further doubts
Great video! I'm just starting with MV, so I have a lot to learn yet! In my MV version (0.99.6), I don't seem to have the Fov, Speed, and Mouse options in the advanced camera settings. Do you have any idea why? I'm using a MacBook Air M1, and just using the trackpad (no Mouse).
I don't really have a mac to try it out, but I know the versions are a bit different and the mac one is generally lagging behind a bit from the Windows one. ):
Mmh. At that moment al I did was leaving edit mode and went into scene mode. Pressing tab. If youdon't see a grid click on the button with a grid on the bottom right. You will see them in yellow in my screen
