You the man! I like you and yum yum on the trails. I ride ebikes more now (gettin up there) than MTBs. I see Yeti and Santa Cruz may be getting into the biz sometime soon. Do you guys think this is good for future riders like yourself? BTW-Interbike is a gas with all of the new companies coming out of Germany mfg ebikes. Cheers.
hey jc trails is took that same bike out for a demo ride to blue hills yesterday i loved it i had the most fun on that bike than any other one i have ridden. i thought it climbed great. would you recommend the 29er or the 27.5 for this enduro? and as far as a GPS devise or app for getting around the trails any suggestions
Hey Matt if you are riding tight trails and jumping I would say go for the 27.5. If you plan on hitting some high speed Enduro races the 29 will help you keep your times down. Both great bikes . I use trail forks (pretty good for finding new trails) and Strava apps, I don't have any experience with GPS units.
JC that bike looks so sick man, love the black and orange combo....i have a 2017 Specialized Camber...would be sweet to ride sometime (in the PNW)..thanks for sharing man, lots of great information!
I love my 2016 Specialized enduro. I use it as a trail bike and as a downhill bike. I had to change out the rear wheel to a sunringle rim with 2.5 wtb convict. The roval traverse aluminum rear was not strong enough for my weight. I agree the dropper post could be longer. Also, the rear shock needs an upgrade, one that is a little stronger with a dampening cylinder. I wish now I had a large (6 ft).
Bishop Kalliko I was getting stir crazy. The 29 is going to rip have fun with that. I have not ridden the LT yet but I have ridden the regular HT here is the link to that video ruclips.net/video/HGKJ6Pb7Ce4/видео.html I should be able to get my hands on LT soon so stay tuned for that.
JC TRAILS Yeah, not watching anymore '17 vids as I know they've made significant changes in all the' 18 models of bikes I'm looking at. Look forward to seeing your review vids of both of these bikes. Especially if you do them and the Enduro again when the trail conditions are better!
christopher c if your looking at Specialized bikes I would recommend the Stumpjumper. I will be doing a review on the 2019 model this week, so stay tuned.
Sweet bike and video, I just bought the '18 6fattie myself, so stoked. I am coming up to Massachusetts this summer, can you suggest any must stop or must ride locations in or near Massachusetts? I will have a day or two in that area as I make my way up to Maine. Thanks for the vids, I really like your channel, best wishes in 2018
Pedals and Plants are you going to be in Eastern MA by BOSTON? If so check out Blue Hill Reservation in MILTON or Wompatuck State Park in Hingham. Trail of Tears down the Cape in Barnstable is great too.
+Bobby Allen - Thanks for the locations, I have heard of Wompatuck State Park but not the others. I originally planned and thought the best riding in Massachusetts would be in the western part, near Pittsfield. However, I a starting to realize that the best trails may actually be near Boston and the eastern portion of the state. I will be coming up from Tallahassee and after I leave NJ (Ringwood and Jungle Habitat) I was gonna go west but now I will likely hug the Atlantic until I get to Bar Harbor. Then I plan to go ride Carrabassett Valley, Maine and then on to the 2018 NEMBA fest! Thanks again and best wishes!
Thanks Pedals and Plants, I would recommend Vietnam in Milford, Otis AFB on the Cape, and I also recommend Wompatuck. I will see you at Nemba Fest! Thanks for Watching!
I just got the same bike as this, but mine doesn't have a high speed compression adjustion knob on the fork. Can you please tell me how to change high speed compression? thanks!
"Magic Couch" LOL I rode in 31 degree weather a few days ago and thought I was going to die. I can't imagine riding in that kind of cold you are out in. I admire your fortitude. You should do a cold weather gear video! :)
In your opinion, if you already had the enduro as a single bike for greater boston/new england - would it be worth trading in for a 2019 stumpjumper LT or are they not all that different?
Props for doing a bike review in the freezing cold. That's dedication!
MTB Savant I'm committed to the craft!
You did not disappoint even shredded in the snow!
Thanks Chase it was slick out there.
I bet! Here in MT we have about 6 inches in town. I don't think I'll be riding anytime soon.
HNY! That is dedication in the snow. Way to go dude...
Thanks Bob A I was getting stir crazy!

Monster Vlogster thanks for watching. The Camber will rip in the PNW.
totally agree!

Good push to be riding in those conditions. Can't wait to give this A Go in the 29er when weather breaks.
Do you have a video of the '18 Hightower LT?

Great vids JC! which bike do you recommend for riding Womoatuck and Pine Hills? Pine Hills has a ton of fun trails!!
christopher c if your looking at Specialized bikes I would recommend the Stumpjumper. I will be doing a review on the 2019 model this week, so stay tuned.
Thanks JC looking forward to your review. In your experience what do you prefer Trek, Specialized, YT, Canyon, etc?
christopher c I’ve never ridden a YT or Canyon, but trek goes make a heck of a trail bike. Check out the trek fuel.

That's a great idea Donnie. As for riding in the cold I had no choice I was getting stir crazy!
New Years Day it was about 6 degrees. You learn how to dress and get used to it. :-)
Bill Boles I def dress for the cold but I don't think this FL boy will ever get use it.
How does GX eagle compare to a XO1 eagle? Getting a new bike with gx eagle...
In your opinion, if you already had the enduro as a single bike for greater boston/new england - would it be worth trading in for a 2019 stumpjumper LT or are they not all that different?
Geoffrey Barlow if the majority of your riding is just single track then I would say yes.
What trail is this? Nice review!
VarietyBacon thanks it’s Pine Hills in Plymouth next to Serious Cycles.
Specialized makes the best bikes around! I love my 2018 S-WORKS Epic
Kazak Thranduil enjoy that Epic it's a speed demon!
🤘🤘🤘
🤙🏼🤙🏼
where are these trails?
Zach pinehills In Plymouth, Ma across the st from Serious cycles
Great review!
mwinner101 thanks!
It would be interesting to compare that bike with the 2018 29r Specialized Enduro. Maybe BikeBarn could loan you one of them.
Bill Boles I owned a 2017 Enduro 29er. I actually like the 27.5 better it feels more maneuverable.
Nice Video ! Look amazing !
Verno Conradie thanks! Riding in the snow definitely provides some challenges, but is sure fun!
Blaming your tire for that fart?
Haha I had Mexican the night before.
Hey JC TRAILS nice video !!!! We are french riders, we work with the filmmaker GoldenHelmets, can you give us a review/commentary of our channel ? :)
That bike looks tiny on you!
Stchamps that’s the GoPro effect it actually feels very roomy.
No it is your huge quads!
I thought you farted when the tyre burped
It does sound like it, stinky!
