The trouble with Jools is that for every good artist like JST, he puts on 20 really awful ones. Where does he find them?. We had Jo Bonamassa and Eric C on one of the programmes. Then Yoko Ono which was just a joke.
I would only go and see her in a pub for free. and please don't put her version of summertime on u tube its not as good as the fun boy threes version!!!
very poor song and her vocal is lacking soul its not blues its soft rock/pop.the guitar solo was out of place with the tune and the band are dull looking.
Jon, if you're going to write her off based on this one performance, which wasn't as bad as you make out, then you are missing out. She was very nervous, and didn't come across as well as she usually does. I saw her in concert a few days ago, and her voice was incredibly powerful for the whole gig, and her playing was inventive, exciting and consistent. This is blues-rock and encompasses other styles, not just blues. If you're a purist don't bother, but there are hundreds of other performances on here you could look at which show off her real talent.
