I don’t always agree with you but when I do, I’m wearing my Longines Hydroconquest. 😂 👍Agree wholeheartedly brother. I was a bit skeptical myself but glad I took the plunge as it’s become one of my favorite watches in the collection.
I paid "1300 for mine as was on sale - regular price €2200... and this watch doesn't even look like is worth €1300. CERTINA divers are way cheaper and look better
Congratulations again brother, this is an awesome watch. I normally do not prefer two tone schemes, but on this watch it works, I actually really like it. I also like the simetry/ overall layout including markings on the bezel. BTW, the blue strap is not only a great score from Amazon, but it looks great on the watch. You did well my friend 👍 👏🙌
Nicely put. I typically almost despise two tone, but there’s something about this watch that makes it an exception. Adrian from Somewhere in Time noticed the brushed gold and I think that is the difference maker for me. The gold is subdued and not “blingy”. The blue strap gives it a more sporty and everyday wearable practical application. It also helps to lessen the amount of bling and subdue the watch a bit. The blue strap also brings out the blue tones immensely. I’d put that strap on for the pool or beach where I think I could potentially scratch the bracket plus it’s more comfortable and sporty.
Great video, beautiful watch. Just purchased this exact model as a Christmas gift for myself after a lot of research. I was looking to move up from a Bulova Oceanographer Devil Diver (still enjoy this watch by the way). It was between the blue only and the two tone with gold. Since my AD was offering a good discount, I decided to go for the two-tone. I was worried it would be too tacky looking at first (normally I am not a fan of gold watches), but this thing is a beauty in person. I also noticed at the dealer that the blue and block only versions have polished middle links vs brushed on the two-tone. The Hamilton Khaki Navy Scuba 43mm in blue or black is another solid diver just below the Longines in price range if you don't mind the size and thickness.
Thanks!!! You named some cool watches. I was definitely concerned with the two tone but man, once I received it, I loved it immediately. Sometimes we have to step outside our comfort zone and just try something a bit different. The Longines has become one of my favorites!
Thanks mate. I know you’ve had hands on with one a while back. What are your thoughts on the two tone? I know it’s not a first choice, typically with either of us.
@@AvgJoeWatchReviews I have seen the two tone in the metal, it wouldn't be my first choice although with the gold sections of the bracelet being brushed that does help to tone it down a bit. I thought that the blue silicone you put on it was a good look for it leaving just the right amount of gold on the watch without looking tacky.
@@somewhereintimewatchreviews the strap definitely toned it down a lot! Gives the watch an entirely new look. Not all straps can do that but I think this watch can be a total strap monster if wasn’t for the 21mm lugs. That’s a bummer.

This watch is much more impressive in person than any pictures online. I think it's great value for the money!

I disagree, in person the crown is a very different gold finish and kills the whole aesthetic. I was hoping I will get use to it but I hate it.

I've been really liking the two tone look lately. Nice addition to the collection with this one. Thanks Joe!
Thanks for stopping by Bob!
The HydroConquest and the Oris Aquis are the 2 best dive watches at this price point
Thanks for watching brother. I’d have to agree with you. Would love to get an Aquis actually.
Beautiful watch, the Hydroconquest is one of my favourites in my collection. Top review 👌
Thank you sir! I see yours on Adrian’s channel and was quite impressed so you definitely have officially become an influencer my friend. 😂 👍

@@AvgJoeWatchReviews Agreed, this is such an awesome watch. Love it 👍
I have the older aluminum bezel one. I absolutely love it!
Good choice!

How would you rate the quality of the bracelet itself? One of the most important things for me personally
Excellent watch, I'm a big fan of the latest Hydroconquest. Great addition to the collection mate.👍

I really like this watch. I’d be tempted to buy it if I had that kind of dough to spend.
I’m always open to trades bud, so don’t forget that option if the money is tight. 👍
@@AvgJoeWatchReviews Great to know. But since I dont have any watches that valuable, I’d have to throw in a guitar also. ;)
That’s a really nice watch, been eyeing the TAG HEUER AQUARACER WAK2120 BLUE CERAMIC AUTOMATIC as a Blusey alternative
That’s a nice piece as well but definitely more pricey indeed. Thanks for watching bud!
@@AvgJoeWatchReviews Heck yeah, you have a great channel!! Best of luck with your new watch
@@brokenchains I’m humbled to hear that. Thank you sir.
I used to have that Tag model. You are referring to the Formula 1 blue gold right? They are actually about the exact same price
Very good value
Very beautiful
Not really into two-tone, yet overall an impressive piece.
Typically I’m not a fan as well, but I must say, this piece is the exception! Thanks for watching bud.
I dont see the amazon link for the rubber strap
Here you go: amzn.to/43ai8LO
I’d pick up the glycine combat for 3 to 400
I have my eyes in the Airman. One step ahead of you 😉👍
I would say entry level luxury diver watch not just an entry level diver watch. You can get a diver watch for 50 bucks.
You’re absolutely correct. I agree with you. Thanks for watching.
👍

Spray paint gold is cool for non watch people. Watch people however .........🤮
