Midnight Spell by Nicoletta Todesco for Two Guitars

Shadows and dissonances come out at midnight
when the full moon shines! This little piece in A
minor asks the guitarist to explore a more aggressive
and sharp timbre and to use accents and dynamics
to highlight the dissonant chords that end most
of the phrases. Guitar 1 and Guitar 2 play similar
musical material so it will be great to work on timbre
and sounds together. This piece is also a good
exercise to work on bringing out the bass line with
the right-hand thumb.
