She strikes beautiful positions and captures the personality of the character with her graceful and precise dancing and timing.
She really has that elusive “stage presence” that can never be taught in any classroom. And her technique is so clean and perfect. She made the entire dance looks so flawless, effortlessly, smooth even though we all know they’re all so freaking hard 😭 and that ending was so different and unexpected compared to what I’ve seen before. No wonder she won 1st place. Bravo! 💜💜💜
Love when she kicks her leg back to hit the tambourine over her head. Amazing!

I have seen younger ages do this variation, but she has a whole new vibe. She embraces the character, and with her flexibility, control and turnout, this was just meant for her! Keep going, becuase many years ago, she took her first step on stage. Today she preforms like an angel.

とにかく見続けてしまう。なんというか、決めるとこが決まっていて他の人のより圧倒的にカッコいい。素人なのでそれがバレエでいいことなのかわからないけど。彼女のならバレエ以外のどんな種類のダンスでもきっと見入ってしまうと思う。

Rika is so awesome, I didn't know you can use fans and tambourine in ballet and she really played around with it really well. It was so satisfying watching her tap that little tambourine.
btw i'm not really familiar with ballet, but did she mess up the jete in the last part of it's just part of the variation? This is my first time watching this variation.
her jete at the end was perfectly fine; they just decided to change the choreo to include the kick and turn at the end

At last, a dancer who acts the Esmeralda, with character, emotion and facial expression; and actually slows down the dance with subtle hesitations instead of speeding up, while the tambourine becomes an integral part of the dance and for both hands. She traverses the stage within the dance, not in order to dance. Above all, she communicates a message.

タンバリンをタイミング良く気持ちいい位ハッキリきっちり鳴らしてくれて、でも踊りは遅れない。最後のポーズ前のタメは色気があるし、エスメラルダ大好きで沢山見てるけど、私のミス・エスメラルダはマツモトさんです。何回も見に来ちゃう。衣装がエメラルドとか緑だったらもっと嬉しかったけど、それは結果論。また観に来ます。飽きないんだもん。

Все очень красиво, но в бубен высокоподнятой ногой ударить все три раза не смогла так, как русские балерины.С каждым ударом бубен опускала все ниже к ноге.
