You are right. Dirty customer care. I also had very bad experience in Poonamallee & Iyyappanthangal Airtel Customer care. Now I have switched over to BSNL though signal strength is poor and they are taking initiate to solve the issue.
Bro same i too face disconnection nearly 15 days from July 11th to 24th july 2024. And today only issues resolved by them as you said i raised the sr request on 11th july itself so they provided waiver from my bill and changed my copper broadband to fiber connection. But copper line is also working fine. Yena spl na copper line connected through underground fiber cable and then end user side will be connected through copper line for the past 5 years and above super ah work ahchu ipa than thidilnu work ahagala but ipa my copper line was upgraded to fiber line and old copper line is also working. So planned to have one fiber line and one copper line. Yethavathu one cut ahchu na unoru line work ahgum la so only. Again my connection was disconnected on this July 27th and came on 28th. Never go for this airtel fiber broadband, if you are already having copper broadband and getting 40 MBPS Speed means never change that. Why becoz all the airtel pillar box are connected by underground fibre cable. So you will never get disconnected. But if you go for fiber connection I am the example for wrost connection got. Very wrost customer care service you can't able to speak with customer representative. To raise the complaint or to get waiver for disconnected dates
Same issue in Hyderabad, even after 2 months they don't provide service and when I ask to close the connection they are asking to pay full amount for the two months without providing any service.
For cancellation fiber connection even in jio it's same if you go office there no one will do cancellation. You need to call customer care then you need to say cancel the fiber plan and they will ask reason. But they will initiate cancellation but with in between 1 to 10 days jio people will come take those boxes .

Bro my problem Recently I tried reactivating the dormant sim by visiting the nearby airtel store located at (19 A ground floor officers’ lane next to ICICI bank Krishna Nagar, Vellore). Where I have encountered the unpleasant customer service by agent “Santhosh” showed rude behavior towards the customers. Agent forcing the customers to convert to postpaid sim without briefing the information against customer will. This kind of behavior not at all acceptable in sales & service industries. Requesting the authorities to investigate this agent attitude towards the customers.

Im using hathway same problem 13 complaints raised daily it will be closed on outage. After a 13 days of suffering on conference call i made them to disconnect it. Koduma adhoda mudiyala box ketu meratal email stating legal action for not returning the box. Truth is no body came collect it. Later based my email reply a person collected the box. After all such nonsense now i am received daily calls from Hathway to activate the same returned box kodumaaaaaa

This happened to me as well,but I didn't go to the store room. Once you lodge a complaint and the wifi issue is not being resolved within 24hrs time then you are forked for 10 days or more. I scolded them and asked them to terminate the connection. Then the manager called me and offered 3 month bill waver + waver for the non working day. Airtel customer care personnels are complete fraud and stupids. Better go for Hathway or act.

I don't know how these educated people are going to private players. Public sector BSNL is best in providing broadband ftth service partnered through cable operator their service is very good. If any complaint regarding broadband simply call 1500 and complaint will be taken instantly though IVR call. Complaint will be resolved max working hour-1hour(technical) others max 1 days-hardware and wire disconnect issue contact your nearest cable tv operator instead of going BSNL office. Their service is good and no disconnection happened. Very peaceful. #supportbsnl

I have tried lot of broadband. I found Airtel to be decent if you are a "black" customer. They have separate customer care 121 is more responsive. Try it.

Im using hathway same problem 13 complaints raised daily it will be closed on outage. After a 13 days of suffering on conference call i made them to disconnect it. Koduma adhoda mudiyala box ketu meratal email stating legal action for not returning the box. Truth is no body came collect it. Later based my email reply a person collected the box. After all such nonsense now i am received daily calls from Hathway to activate the same returned box kodumaaaaaa
Nanum airtel black connection poten. 1st 5month eantha problem varala apuram than network issue and DTH work agala 4days customer service sonen no use and apuram dth, router Aha kalatiti poi airtel office la thooki pottu sandai poten apuram 1hr la vanthu ellam fix panni kuduthanga and use panatha days ku refund vanki ten.

This happened to me as well,but I didn't go to the store room. Once you lodge a complaint and the wifi issue is not being resolved within 24hrs time then you are forked for 10 days or more. I scolded them and asked them to terminate the connection. Then the manager called me and offered 3 month bill waver + waver for the non working day. Airtel customer care personnels are complete fraud and stupids. Better go for Hathway or act.

@airtel india,.paid Rs 3300/- just because I recieved a call from customer care saying that they offer a combo pack i.e. broad band and dth, one week passed no response and still awaiting for dth. Fed up calling customer care and worst customer care number is 121. Please don't ever think of getting an airtel broadband.
Offline service are always worst, you would've raised ticket and followed it with Twitter support.

I don't know how these educated people are going to private players. Public sector BSNL is best in providing broadband ftth service partnered through cable operator their service is very good. If any complaint regarding broadband simply call 1500 and complaint will be taken instantly though IVR call. Complaint will be resolved max working hour-1hour(technical) others max 1 days-hardware and wire disconnect issue contact your nearest cable tv operator instead of going BSNL office. Their service is good and no disconnection happened. Very peaceful. #supportbsnl

BSNL is running in loss..do u know why..? the salary of a peon itself is rs.one lakh...then imagine what his superiors will be getting.,! How will BSNL tide up..? It is a loss running psu..! I am complaining BSNL ftth issue for more than 3 months continously to that cc number but they cant resolve. For namesake they leased lines to private players and sitting in office bluntly without having any authority to resolve the connection issues. BSNL is more worst than private players.

I faced this scenario in 2014 or 2015 with Airtel paid Rs 1250, they never gave connection and I had to fight with them alot to get 1000 and they never returned that Rs 250

I am using Airtel broadband me to occur that issue i contacted airtel cust no.response . Iam simply pick third party agent he resolved with 10 minutes.., he charged only ₹100. That amount also i am retained from airtel bill itself..
