Good old Gibsonian cyberspace ^^ I think my favourite one is the cyberspace segments in System Shock 1, despite the game's relatively primitive graphics. I especially like that you could see beyond the walls of the partition you're jacked into, and see other partitions off in the distance, which you would access later through other cyberjacks. It did a great job making the game world feel connected.
Bits of Kane were used in the fantastic track called "Broken Radio" from the even more fantastic standalone mod Twisted Insurrection, which by the way closes the gap between Tiberian Dawn and Tiberian Sun.
Twisted Insurrection is an alternate universe Tiberian Sun that starts 3 years after the Nod Campaign of Tiberian Dawn. Tiberian Sun is about 10 years after GDI Campaign.

Do you know what this means? C&C (1995) pre-dated the Matrix (1999)
My thoughts exactly. The concept of jacking into a virtual world and having your real body die if your avatar dies is pretty cool to see here.
