I've always theorized that Kane may have posed as certain kings throughout history. He may have even been a Pharaoh at one point. We all know he is the bona-fide Caine who slew his brother Abel.
I lived in Sarajevo, and I passed by the Temple of Nod every time I went to School.
I just now realized:
When Kane isn’t in control of the tower, the color is red. When he is in control, it changes to purple. To me it signals the change in approach to Kane’s tactics. Personally, I believe he intends to take over the Scrin.

5:48 From my own theory, it was meant not only a cameo or a easteregg. Although meant to be a reference from Renegade 2 where it takes place BEFORE Tiberian Dawn and FIRST Renegade. Although the prequel was cancelled sadly.

everytime i see sections about the hunter seeker, i am right away thinking in my teenage years playing and my frustration when my seekers would only kill infantry or a low teir defense structure, while i always lose a war factory or in some cases a con yard due to the ai using them. boy did i ever hate them
This was one thing I was glad to see gone, I hated those so damn much.
Yeah. Originally they were supposed to be controllable, but time and tech constraints forced Westwood to axe that feature.

The wall behind the desk is that giant LED screen that shows pictures that proverbially interpret what Kane says... Best example is the picture of floating hourglasses when Kane said "I see the future." during the briefing for either the Assassinate Dr Wong mission in Tanzania or the Destroy Mammoth Tank Factory mission in Angola...

When Kane comes out of stasis and is stumbling around my first thought was “look at that goofy ah fella” right as Jethild contains a laugh. I was going “was he thinking the same thing?” 😂 love your videos man, I watch em the moment I see them.
Aside from the obelisk, the temple was my favorite building from C&C.
The Temple of Nod has to be one of the coolest evil lairs I've ever seen, a cathedral designed to look like a scorpion, a "tail" that houses nukes, and some red and black stained glass. No lair better represents the religious fanaticism of its leader better than the Temple of Nod.

It honestly would've been so much more fitting if Kane's Tower had been named Bable after the one in the bible, considering all the biblical references already stuffed into the Nod faction.
Babel would be babylonia, mentioned in the bible but much bigger than what mainstream media portrays it as. Babylonia was a fairly big empire during its peak (:
I imagine that the camera by Kane's bed was for communication with distant commanders or operatives in case of emergencies. The lack of a screen for viewing the counterpart though is odd.

I just stumbled upon your channel and I am in shock to see so many people watching your CNC lore. I am so happy to see such a fanbase decades after these games were in their prime. Tiberian Sun was my second of all time favourite RTS after AOE2 and next was Tiberium Wars. This universe is so interesting.

I didn't know they did such a good job recreating Kain's Temple in Renegade based on the original.
My favourite building
Honestly kanes bedroom on the hardest mode it should be you enter that room and it turns into a fully working obelisk with health bar.
A camera set up near the bed switchs on amd kanes voices goads you as you dash and benny hill flop around the room as a room full of nod soldiers and kane throw popcorn and place bets to see if obilesk gunner Benny can hit havoc in the nads.
NOD temple in the first Tiberium war was more like a hive.

I may be asking alot, and may have even missed it if it's already out, but I'd love if they'd make a mod for tib sun where you can generate your own map, build a scenario, then invite players to compete together or against you.

Honestly. Even as a GDI fanboy, I feel this is out of character. Ive never got the impression he got hung up on anyone. Considering McNeil straight up ganks him and Kane never even mentions it as anything other than a setback. I would chalk it up to his fanatic followers.

Hunters seekers were supposed to be improved with a discarded "Threat Rating Node", at east for GDI. Also note the lowering in lore and cause/effectevents from tiberium wars and onwards....

It plays into their stealthy tricky guerilla theme. As opposed to the GDI Eagle flying high and striking hard. Tib Dawn had victory cutscenes where the totem animals would kill each other. (At least GDI had a scene. IDR the nod version from memory)
That Liquid Tiberium explosion in C&C3 always bugged me so much. Thats not "collateral damage" level, thats life-on-earth-ending level.

Cool note: In the room with the sarcophagus there are Hebrew writings on the wall which look like biblical Hebrew. it looks to be an extract from the Bible. I'm not an expert on the topic. I just know Hebrew. There are writings on the sarcophagus itself saying Abel.

I prefer the look of Temple of Nod in Tiberian Sun. And according to some sources, it was a meteor shower, not a single meteor, brought Tiberium to Earth.
