With Hayley facing her own struggles over the years, suffering an eating disorder in her teens, losing her mum to alcohol 8 years ago and recently being diagnosed with severe ADHD. Hayley hasn’t touched alcohol in a year and a half after disliking the effects that alcohol has.
Despite their struggles, Hayley and her partner have worked hard to start their business and get it off the ground. Hayley brings her fantastic energy and passion as she joins Dan to discuss the psychological aspects of addiction, ADHD and mental health/wellbeing.

Menace II Sobriety Live brings the up & coming podcast to the live stage; hosted by Daniel O'Reilly and a special guest, no topic is off-limits. Combining humour with stories and issues which both Daniel and the audience will have experienced, whether first hand or through someone they know. Offering an environment for people to openly discuss their struggles was Daniel's main focus behind starting the podcast, as well as his M.A.T.E group; so now he also brings it to the stage and to the public.
What can people expect at the live podcast:
Join Daniel at Menace II Sobriety Live, as he discusses all things sobriety, ADHD, mental health and more. The podcastwill be recorded live with a special guest, including audience interaction and finishing with an open Q&A.
Daniel will not only be discussing sobriety, but everything life throws at us, and he would love for you to join him. Bring your tissues and your sense of humour, because we have no idea what topics will be discussed, but whatever the conversation, it'll be a supportive environment and may contain some dad jokes.
Story behind the podcast:
The Menace II Sobriety podcast was set up after Daniel faced his own battles with sobriety, ADHD, mental health and certain life scenarios. He set up a M.A.T.E group on Facebook, so that men could support men in an accessible, open and friendly environment. Upon seeing the responses from men around the world to some of the posts on the group, Daniel was blown away by the kindness and support of strangers. This led him to create the podcast, inviting a range of guests from different backgrounds, sharing his own personal experiences & struggles; and now, opening up to the public in a live environment, where people can come along and watch in-person, or get involved in the audience interaction.

What a fantastic podcast! I was lucky enough to have hayley as a supervisor at a volunteer job I once had. She was incredible, approachable, professional and kind. Great episode, Hayley is amazing!!! I love every podcast I listen to and has led me to believe so much more in myself and what I am worthy to achieve. I had an idea which prompted this comment. Perhaps an interesting guest one day would be a guy who is still struggling with their addiction. Not listened to every episode so maybe you might have done already. It might be really interesting / helpful to see how to conversation unfolds where someone is asking for guidance for their current struggles. The podcast is amazing!!! Keep it up xxxxxxxxx
I think a lot comes down to being grateful & content with what you have not what you've not got, if or when you exceed your own expectations, that's the bonus.
Being fortunate to live and work in a less privileged country past decade plus, I see this everyday.....literally daily which does change your mindset and keep you grateful & contented. Keep em coming, really interesting this one, regards from Indonesia.
