I know exactly what you mean, I used to listen to Sam smith before he made his first album, and a little gutted when he exploded commercially.
But the only thing with Allen Stone is I'm not lucky to get tickets for him in my country, last time he toured here was in Glasgow 3 YEARS AGO, gutted, looks like I'll have to take a holiday lol : D
+Kai Campbell Oh no that was so long ago. I hope he makes his way back there soon. I flew to Austin, TX in June to see him, took a train to a suburb here in the city to see him in September. Taking a train and meeting a fan to see him in Detroit, Michigan and then Saturday I'll see him again in my city across from my work. Im so excited. Maybe you should take a holiday lol

Reflecting a 'fine wine' Allen Stone just gets better with age. I firmly believe that from the word 'push' Mr. Stone was delivered to us for a profound purpose. I can just about envision Allen learning how to string a guitar long before he learned how to tie his shoes. Literally born with a guitar and that 'perfect-signature' voice. He truly shapes time into something wondrous & beautiful while he , seemingly, effortlessly reads to us with impeccable tone & taste. Allen's vibrato is like warm butter. So silky smooth and full of good! Allen is the epitome of what phrasing and dynamics are all about. He is his own band. I honestly feel he is one of those extremely few artists that has the ability to engage his listeners to simply do just that. 'Listen' to every single word intently creating an hypnotic, transcendence in time. I can't speak for everyone else but this young man is such a fresh breath of clean air. He's better than Disneyland and truly is the best vacation one could ever escape towards destinations unknown. Each and every performance is a new day instilling hope and the belief that goodness still exists. Allen, if you're listening. Thank you. Truly.
