I went on this a few weeks ago for a field trip and it was the scariest but the best ride at Disney (in my opinion). Anyone who like thrills, big drops, and going backwards should go on this ride. Unfortunately we didn’t have fastpasses and the wait was 2 hours though.
Last time I was there the yeti still worked (I actually rode it during the soft openening). Sad to see it like this. Thanks for the great videos! Keep em coming!
I’m 12 and about to ride it in February. I don’t really like roller coasters. Sorta scared of big drops and the going backwards looks scary. Is it scary? Should I be prepared? Any tips? Please help!!! :D
The yeti used to have a much larger degree of motion. It would lunge out at you. Unfortunatley something went wrong with the foundation of this massive animatronic (some say cracks began to appear.) As a result the yeti's dynamic motion of lunging out at the train has been turned off with a strobe light put in place to give the illusion of movement. It has been like this for a couple years now.
