I see a lot of people questioning how I’ve seen it haha sorry I should have explained. I was lucky enough to be at the UK premiere and got screeners for the last 2 episodes. I have a decent sized TikTok account which blew up a lot from sonic 2 content which is why I got the invite. I’m sure it must have been confusing seeing the random RUclips account having seen the show haha, I’m trying to get more into YT so expect a lot more reviews!

honestly i kind of felt they were going to leave knuckles out which is disappointing, hopefully they learn not to do that for sonic 3 cuz shadow needs to SHINE, good review!!

The human parts never bothered me too much, cant wait to see it on friday
I get why people get bothered with the human screen time but it feels like people complain about it too much the sonic movie franchise is a live action hybrid and the humans here are way more important than they were in the games

@@mitcheldxdyt6726I like the change of pace. Reminds me of SatAm. Sonic was a character in that show, but he was not the only character. Most if not all the characters in that show had a good deal of depth and range to their personalities-even Robotnik.
Yeah, I personally like the wedding scene in the second one, besides it was mostly our boys sonic tails knuckles and of course eggman that got the attention in that movie

As much as I like knuckles. I will say these are probably some of the best humans we’ve had in sonic so im willing to give it a chance.
Plus the main point of these movies is to show sonic and friends in the real world so human focus is inevitable

Great review! Your main issue with it was also my main worry about the show. It s so weird how they are only promoting it with posters and trailers focusing on Knuckles and making Wade seem like a secondary character. I just KNEW he would take all the screen time from Knuckles. Will still watch the show because I love Sonic but its so odd to have a show about frickin KNUCKLES and only have more and more random humans in it (that nobody asked for)
It’s so noticeable in the last two, the rest I enjoyed even when knuckles wasn’t on screen because it actually added to his character in a way. Either way I reckon you’ll still love it for what it is!
Bro, one of the things I feared was the screen time of humans, I hope they don't continue with this pattern in Sonic 3.

But this is a spin off series, and it's not that bad. Both Wade and Knuckles go through each's own arc and help each other
I understand the argument for human screentime I just feel like it is a slightly unfair criticism since the sonic movies whether we like it or not is a live action hybrid meaning we are gonna see a lot of human screen time to also make more sales also the humans are way More important in this franchise than they are in the games
I mean as I said, I still enjoyed it! I just expected more Knuckles in the last few eps and you’ll see what I mean when it comes out
To be honest, neither in 1 nor 2 did the human characters ever bother me, This kind of reminds me of the anime Sonic X think I'm really going to like the show with or without humans 🙂, but for one I'm also hoping that in 3 the Sonic characters gain as much prominence as possible
I have always thought of the human characters as extensions of the main cast since by virtue of interacting with Mobians, they become "Sonic characters", inheriting all the unique and peculiar events that would otherwise not occur to normal humans. Consequently, though they might lack powers, for all intensive purposes they still act like the aforementioned Sonic character archetype and demonstrate their justification for existing within the cinematic universe.
It should be noted that the films are effectively doing more than just showing the Mobian characters but rather also demonstrating the effect Mobian integration into American society and the world at large entails. Consequently, by that logic, everyone within the cinematic universe could be qualified as a "Sonic character", especially after the magnitude of the events in Sonic 2 evidently making the existence of aliens effectively public knowledge.
Don't need to say who, but can we expect new game characters? (Not counting Pachacamac)

30-minute episodes. So in all Total, that is 3 hours of watching. Dude, they said the episodes were going to be 1 hour. I was so worried that I had to stay on my TV for 6 hours.

I just finish the show, honestly, it's was good, Wade was the main character of 4 and 5 but it's okay. It's was funny and i just love how Paramount make Pachacamac in the movie universe, definitively better than his game coutepart.
I really don't care about news characters, Sonic 3 trailer going to come so we just need to be patient.
Just for ask: Why Knux see Pachacamac and not his Father?

This review was awesome! I can't wait to experience an fun-filled ride! But I'm just questioning... Was there any explanation/or whereabouts of the Donut Lord/Tom? After watching the trailers/teasers, I don't think he was mentioned or shown.

I feel like the knuckles series is a prequel for 3rd film (watch movie 1, 2, knuckles show, then 3rd film in that order)
I hate the complaints about it. I think the live action series of films so far is great and this show sounds great too.

Idk why people really care about human scenes when eggmans a human, it wouldn’t make sense for eggman to be the only human unless you pull off a sonic x
I think the difference is that the movies have human stuff involving sonic related characters, but this had human stuff yes involving wade, but having nothing to do with anything Sonic related, almost like it was a completely different show
if wade becomes sonicman it will all be worth it

While I do think the show will be fun I think this was a missed potential opportunity to set up events for sonic movie 3 they could have introduced rouge or Amy in this or even the chaotics. They could have also made it a orgin show for knuckles and show more of his childhood on his home world.

Ok..... i think the Knuckles show was fine, not fantastic, but better then i expected. I actually liked the Wade stuff and thought he was entertaining enough. Episode 4 was really good. I just wish Knuckles was in it a little more because it really felt like Wade was the main character. I'd give it a 6/10. Maybe im being to kind to the show, but I just dont think its THAT bad
