That’s my main problem with the live action Sonic movie franchise. I really don’t care about the human characters. Eggman and his assistant are the only exception.
Well, aside from Tom and Maddie Wachowski. AKA The only human characters aside from Robotnik and Stone who I genuinely like. They're pretty charming and likeable couple. And I like them as Sonic, Tails, & Knuckles' adopted parents.

Just gave first episode 10 minutes, made me skip to final episode where there was so much wade I skipped to final scene only to see bowling tournament then defeating tier D "boss". Wade is just so unlikeable and not funny. So much potential ruined. In my eyes, this is not Canon lol

If you like wade, or are just a fan of the movies (despite the writing issues and knuckles not being present as much as you’d expect him to be) it’s still worth watching and it’s worth coming to that conclusion yourself. I’d say that there’s a lot of mob mentality surrounding the show rn, and I watched before I saw all of the complaints people had; I still felt really mixed after the final episode…but overall it was an okay show that still portrays knuckles very well and has alot of good funny and heartfelt moments, but it also has alot of flaws and the biggest being Wade outright making knuckles a stagnant supporting role in his own show. People shouldn’t be calling this the worst piece of sonic media in history, and people shouldn’t be shaming others for having valid complaints and criticisms. People were excited, like myself, and are allowed to like the show and/or be disappointed by it. We really can’t just be respectful of peoples opinions on media anymore, and looking through the comments on some of the videos I’ve seen it’s fcking sad
Dang, my little 9 yr old brother might be in for a disappointment. Sucks cus he loves the Sonic movies and he’s been hyping this series up like there’s no tomorrow.
I like it especially when wade would fight with the gloves and the other people chasing knuckles and the robot fight with wade at the end. I like the tournament episodes but besides that I agree with how wade would be in the show more then knuckles
I do think that the show should’ve definitely focused more on knuckles but me and my brother still had fun watching it mostly because we were joking the whole time
Why are people surprised? Paramount isn’t big as Disney or WB. Paramount has to penny pitch like a MF. Keep in the mind the films did average,they did excellent for video games films but as films on their own. 330-430 at box office is average for a kids film. Thats how much films like barnyard,over the hedge etc made. Kids film typically make 1B at box office or at least they use to.

Like does the world know they exist or not? Just pick one, and even if they did know they existed they still would have acknowledged the alien when he shows up places. Oh yeah and I haven't even mentioned the fact that we just like gained superpowers out of nowhere for a split second in the show. Like are they just not going to acknowledge that? I really wish the show wasn't Canon cuz it just played out like a cartoon but it's live action so it just does not look good at all. They should start sticking to more serious stuff. In my honest opinion I've watched it and it's a mix of disappointment and satisfactory.. Granted they should be more focused on knuckles instead of wade but overall there was some pretty bad ass moments.. for knuckles alone.. So I'd give it a solid 6 out of 10.. I've seen worse mini series based on movies and this was probably the best.. to me.

Also I recall the director of Sonic 2 saying that this show would bridge the gap between movies and lead directly in to Sonic 3. So I'd give it a solid 6 out of 10..
I've seen worse mini series based on movies and this was probably the best.. to me.

It was actually good it was more 50% knuckles and 50 % wade a lot of Easter eggs if you really enjoyed and played sonic not everything has to be and epic masterpiece it’s enjoyable for parents and kids who are fans of the movies and games
Episode 2 knuckles is kidnapped and locked up the full episode
Episode 3 is about wades family dinner
Episode 4 is about wades rock opera
Episode 5 is about the bowling tournament
That’s a lot of Wade centric episode for a knuckles show.
Do t need it to be epic. Do need knuckles to be the focus.

the show should just be called Wade bc Knuckles is literally in the show for like maybe 10 minutes in total. Don't even bother watching this show as it literally doesn't try to connect itself to the movies at all. Also I recall the director of Sonic 2 saying that this show would bridge the gap between movies and lead directly in to Sonic 3. Maybe they canned that idea or just straight up lied but either way what we got was terrible and legitimately hard to watch.
I was hoping this would be good I've been screwed over by some of my more anticipated tv of the year

It feels like a converted an early idea for a Knuckles movie into a 6 episode show with some Wade episodes.
The budget seemed to be the problem. They didn't want to commit the money for Knuckles to actually be the lead.

I actually liked the wade stuff. I thought it wa charming and funny ere and there. But i would be a liar if i didnt say to myself.....whens knuckles coming. And how knuckles got his cool hat was lame. Lol

You sure we watched the same show? Cuz to me the showed focused on both of them about 50/50 just like the sonic movies with sonic and cyclops guy….this version of the ip it’s just about the humans as it is the sonic characters….thought that was kind of obvious…..guess not 🤷🏽♂️
First 2 episodes were ok. Knuckles was the main character. Then goes to the gay I guess guy with dad issues. Should of called the show wade the guy you forgot was in the movie
I’m so disappointed...I didn’t exactly know what to expect, I thought this was about knuckles but it was basically wade trying to become knuckles aka spiderman😂😭 literally a Spider-Man rip off I’m sorry but the story was so boring I felt like I was watching a different show the jokes weren’t even that good...the movies aren’t the best either but at least they had balance cause this....this was ...I’m scared what there gonna do with Shadow😭 and the story and unfunny jokes...plus ngl personally the music sucks too I mean why can’t we have at least 4 sonic songs like the one from sonic adventure 2🥺
