Thank you for your contents dear Erin ♥️ You have such a great creativity and curiosity, Denmark and especially Copenhagen should be beyond proud to have you 🥰
@@ErininCopenhagen I'm sorry you had a difficult day 🥺 but I'm glad to know I had the possibility to both cheer it up and express my appreciation towards you, thank you really much and I wish a great week end to you too 🥰✨
Usually the taste, structure and freshness of items from Farmers Market far superceeds whatever equivalent from the supermarket. The only thing they have going for them is the price. Having some items from far-away lands means nothing to me. I’m not gonna entertain them in conversation anyway. I’m gonna have to try that pumpkin recipe. That looks delicious. 😍
A minor correction. We use grønt and grøntsager interchangeably, and grønt also meaning something that is green. It it not the same as greens though, but vegetables. So a direct translation of grønt market would be vegetable market. A carrot would fall into the category of grønt(sag). I can't tell you what the logic in that is though :p
I am living on Fyn, in a smaller city. And we dont have farmers markeds. We do however have stalls at the road all over the place. Its a bit more costly then the lokal Netto/Spar but generally it is also a lot more fresh. An appel from Chile looks nice, but the taste cant compare to one from the neighborhood. Your farmer marked prices are higher then what I am use to though. I generally have to pay 10-15% more then the store.
When I used to live in Odense, there was this amazing farmers shop in our area called "Frugt Lageret" that we went to all the time - sadly it's gone now but the quality was amazing, all local, and the prices were so much better than the supermarkets too. I wish there were more places like this here! My in-laws are from Fyn and I always love driving through the countryside and seeing what the stalls on the side of the road are selling 😊

… And Torvehallerne prices are in the middle?
I find torvehallerne super expensive 😳 Granted, I haven't been lately so maybe they are better now but it wouldn't be my first choice to be honest
