Wish I would have checked your videos before I did this job today. Would have been alot less stressful but I got it out.and won't be to bad to put back in

Very helpful! Thank you! I have a 02 RSX, 318,000 miles.
Leaking a very small amount of coolant, always about 10 mins after I turned off the car.
Was able to remove the thermostat/housing and it looks fine. Will have to take off intake manifold to look at thermostat housing to block.
The info on removing the 12 mm bolt for a few extra inches is great!
    Thanks!

Have the same problem with a thermostat bolt not wanting to come out. Lots of cuss words. This vid gives me an useful overview of the water outlet removal and how. Hopefully neither of the two housing bolts snaps. Fingers crossed. Thanks.

No, I have been down this road before on other projects. I am used to it. Just a little disapointed the housing crapped out on it.

I didn't remove most of the stuff you removed.. I only moved the air filter box tube and throttle body without unplugging it.. And then the intake, after that I just struggled a bit for the last three bolts for the case itself
