A lady brought back a mower I sold her for repair over the weekend. It was a baby 20. I had to laugh when I pulled it in the garage. I forgotten how small those mowers are.

Water, water everywhere!! The Murray that came back to me had the same problem, carb full of water and a contaminated tank. The Crafty continues to thwart me. If I ever do get it rectified, gonna have a lot of Redneck Engineering on it. No repair work today, have to do the yards on my and the short term rental next door.

Listed couple of personal pace today 1 smart stow tall rear wheels with quantum. Other is older personal pace with Quantum. Put another personal pace on operating table paint decent quantum, blade sharp, low on oil. So pull air filter good blow it out. No gas fill to where you can see it. 2 pulls! Why throw it away? Good runner maby plastic gears drive wheels? Check it out tomorrow. Still have 3 pairs of wheels from when they were $12 a pair. Only use one at a time as needed have a good rest of day.

Pour Clorox in there once a month and that will keep it clean.

Good video Tommy. The Zongzen (sp?) are easy to work on, just need a 10m socket. Cooling off here, highs in the 70's and lows in the 50's at night. Hope you guys get some relief soon.

Good job on getting the Crafty back up and running. I had a machine with that choke system on it a couple of months ago. The owner had disconnected it and it was flopping around. Took me about an hour to figure out how it went back on. I've got a Murray 22" with a B&S 550EX engine return mower to look at this morning. Sold it about a month ago. Owner said it was running fine, ran out of gas. Went to the QT and bought fresh non-ethanol fuel, fueled it and it wouldn't start. I gave it a shot of happy juice, nothing. Hope it's an easy fix. Need to get back on the demon-possessed Stihl MS 250 chainsaw.

I have one of those Husqvarnas same one bent crankshaft 163 cc I have a crankshaft out of a toro that is blowen up. I need to take time and clean aluminum off of crankshaft. With muratic acid and polish it. Correct size crankshaft I think keyway different width. Winter project?

I think she'll do just fine after a bit of love!! Please send that rain West please!! I worked on the Crafty I picked up Thursday. What a freaking Redneck engineered nightmare!! It took me a couple of hours just the get the recoil and engine housing off as someone had put in oddball screws that would just spin. I finally got it apart, checked the keyway and put back together and when I tried to pull on it, the danged recoil came off!! Arrrggghhh!!!! I rolled it back in the garage and went to the Homey D and picked up more screws and nuts and bolts to re-Redneck engineer it.

Carbon build up. Engine carbon cleaner spray may clear it out. Back in my gear head days we crushed walnut shells down the throat of carburetor whilst engine was idling to clean out carbon😁

Nice score on that repair. When you were describing the symptoms I thought it was going to need a new head gasket. Phew, glad it wasn’t that! Yes, those Hondas are good cars.

Those 2.4 liter Vtec engines are tough and provide good power for their size. Glad you found the problem, hope you can get it rectified without too much trouble.

Did some more research on vortex if you don't take your blower and blow it out after every mow it gets plugged up with grass and doesn't work anymore

I bought a new mower from an authorized dealer. It came with a full tank delivered. I assumed to ensure to the purchaser knew it worked before any fuel issues.

Ethanol fuel gets you every time!! Good quick repair!! I picked up a 2013 Crafty yesterday for $35. Did a quick troubleshoot on it. Stuck choke, WAY overfilled oil, bad spark plug. Got it to run on it's own for about 5 mins. and then it died. Will get back on it Saturday, outpatient surgery today.

what do these people do to stop a Quantum? 17oz of oil. Clean gas. Clean air filter. Check the reverse 'L' pattern bolts around the exhaust port every year or so, 17 foot-pounds. Better yet check them all. Plug gap, blade tight. C U T G R A S S. Easy Peasy. People. what can u doo?

Blade must be out of balance or bent 😢, but it’s running 😊

The vortex is supp to make more airflow to mulch grass clipping better with more speed. Don't know if it works or not.

Picked up a john deere js30 I need to check the flywheel key. But other than that I think a carb clean and maybe a cable for speed but wont know till I get it running.

Good job on getting the Toro up and running again!! I've lost a few springs too, just go flying off into never-never land!! I'm working on a landscapers chainsaws. Got his Echo cs400 going, needed a new carb, got a Stihl MS 250 that needs a recoil and carb up next, then an old Stihl 038 that needs a little cleanup. I don't mind working on the 2 stroke stuff, but I gave up doing carb rebuilds on them, easier just to replace.
