  • Alaska backcountry, an aviators dream adventure! Visited Talkeetna, McCarthy, Kennecott Mine, Forest Service Cabins - Italio River, Jake's Bar, May Creek, Peavine, and numerous glaciers including Hubbard Glacier.
    Five+ onboard cameras rolling to give you as much scenery as possible. Two GoPro Max 360 cameras allow for an "out of airplane" experience. This was a dream trip that we wanted to record for our own memory but hope we can entertain you to a degree as well...maybe even entice you to experience the same adventure yourself.

    Great video with beautiful footage, really enjoyed it. I too was in Alaska coming a long way with my RV-8 and did pass some of the same spots like Dawson and Talkeetna. It is so much safer flying with two airplanes. You were lucky with the weather as I remember around June 22 the weather in the South of Alaska turned ugly.

    welch ein abenteuer...viel spass und genug luft unter den flügeln...so wunderschöne aufnahmen...sind solche flüge sehr anstrengend ?...habt ihr ne heizung in der kabine,,,und pampers ?...wie sind die segeleigenschaften dieser flugzeuge, wenn der motor ausfällt ?

    • @rickhiebert7352
      @rickhiebert7352  6 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks and glad you enjoyed the video. Flights are only tiring when you fly long distances...maybe 5 hrs at a time. Yes, there is heat in the cabin. If the engine fails you can glide short distances, depends entirely on how high you're flying.

    How is the camera behind the tail of the Bearhawk attached?

    • @rickhiebert7352
      @rickhiebert7352  9 месяцев назад

      At the 11:01 mark of the video you get a good look at the tail camera boom/mount. The Max360 is just under his elbow. At the 7:00 minute mark you get a good look at the front boom mounted Max 360 camera.

      @@rickhiebert7352 It's absolutely a good thing. I've never been so mesmerized by a voice as I have by his. On the other hand, I've never felt less like a man than when I watch his videos. I've actually been to his cabin on Upper Twin twice and would highly recommend it to anyone in the area.
