The fairy festivals reminds me of the renaissance fairs we have in America
Yes, they're quite similar - we went to the California Renaissance fair a few years ago.
So happy to see the festivals starting again. My first for Fall is mid September so I am madly sewing away until then.

That looked like it was very enjoyable. As you weren't able to camp overnight did you go home every evening and return in the morn? xx
Yes it was. :) We have to pay, but stallholders are allowed to camp, it's just the visitors who can't. So we did sleep in the van as it's about two and a bit hours away from home.
